Does it allow me to view my screen for notifications..yes
Does it allow for calling and picture without opening case...yes
Does it does the basic job of protecting...yes
Do I know the risk of drops and does it look not as sturdy as a otterbox..yes
This case does its job and it doesn't advertise it as being anything but convenient to the user. I like convenience and my hands are not coated with grease so I'm not dropping my phone everyday to justify the need for strength cases. it does cost some $$$ though

Must Have for new phones

It's simple, this was made for the old and new phones and it's amazing it's speed and efficiency. If you use a class 2 card on a s7 your gonna make the phone work harder to process the information and it's gonna heat up and possibly damage it. I've seen this happen way too much and people blame the phone and they are using old tech to store memory. Be smart use the newest if you have the newest. but don't use old for new, it's not sales gimmicks to make you spend more. samsung and best buy reps are trying to help but only if you do yourself the favor of listening and helping yourself.

Look at the Google home as the beginning of a hands free home. turn lights off, open august door locks, turn ac up or down, and Internet help. cheaper than the overhyped amazon echo. looks better but the speaker isn't better but the whole point of the idea of this product is for you to control your wireless home. doesn't matter how great the speaker is. thanks best buy for the advice. I got 3 of these and they do a wonderful job.
