BB has done it again, my son was playing the free version on his ipad and got the point where he was needing to pay to play more. No way was I going to do that :) I looked up the game as norrmal on Amazon to see how much, then checked BB to see what the price was as 2 day is never as good as NOW!! There it was, in stock at my local BB and cheaper than Amazon. I reserved it and went and picked it up. 30 minutes later I had a happy child. Great fun game as always. Lego always knocks it out the park with these fun games.

We realized in the week leading to the release of the new star wars movie we did not have the last on disc. So i instantly did my usual and checked Amazon, then checked BestBuy. I have no idea how they do it but Best Buy has done it again. 48 batteries for less than $7!! That's cheaper than the $1 store and these are alkaline. So after wanting one of these since before they came out, its been a frustrating struggle trying to find one. I have no idea why Nintendo decided to go with the strategy that they did. It makes no sense, in fact I think its putting people off of buying one who may have if there was inventory. Anyway I happened to be on vacation down in North Carolina and needed to waste sometime before a movie so went into the local BB to have a wander. I always check the isle to see if by chance there is ever one there and guess what there was!! At first I was thinking, oh just another display box again but then saw the electronic security tag and knew it had to be real :) I jumped for it, grabbed it and never let go. Made the vacation. Even the best buy employee at the checkout said 'you found the unicorn'. As far as game play its good, I have only played mario kart to date and lots of it, mostly docked and on the TV. As for the online eshop, that's really bad. No demo's just the ability to buy the games you can buy in the store. That's really a let down at this point. I hope they build that out, again why not have that ready before going live with it!!

Went to Best Buy as a get out of the house activity and while wandering around I found a stash of LP's!! to my surprise the latest Metallica LP was there and after doing the usual online check as you do against Amazon to see what the right price was, I find BestBuy was selling it cheaper!! no brainer!! home it came with me and presented to the wife as a just because present. No dog house tonight :)
