Fast, But Excessive If You Don't Online PC Game

The WRT32X is a heavy-duty router optimized for online PC gaming with its Killer prioritization engine, which will automatically prioritize any WiFi traffic from network adapters with Killer built-in. This speeds traffic with Killer, even over normal network traffic which, in a mixed home where people are gaming & working simultaneously, could create some interesting conflicts. Killer always wins, followed by voice/video services (also used with online gaming), with e-mail & downloads as the lowest priorities overall.
You can tell from the weight of the device that it is much heavier-duty than your normal run-of-the-mill WiFi router, and the design is nothing shy of beautiful, something you don't mind having out in the open.
The 4 antennas mount on left, right, and 2 on the back for maximum coverage, although I found signal quality substantially degraded from 1 end of the house to the other and wasn't much of an improvement over my previous router.
The setup wizard is quick & easy to use (even as an IT pro I used the wizard). Taking the initial firmware upgrade out of the equation, I was up & running in less than 3 minutes. (Firmware upgrades occur at initial set up & then nightly, if needed, unless otherwise specified).
The web interface for setup & management is well-designed, with a dashboard to show inbound & outbound traffic, as well as a built-in speed test button.
The device will attempt to name both your 2.4 and 5.0 GHz networks the same thing, which a lot of people don't want. I specified them to be named differently (for clarity), but the system ended up naming them the same, anyway. Annoying, but easy to fix with the management interface.
As mentioned, it is built to accept Killer traffic. But, if you have non-Killer devices, you can easily set devices to take advantage of the prioritization using the web interface. The challenge is finding the names of those devices you wish to prioritize if they're IoT devices and aren't easily identifiable with a hostname.
The device also includes 2 USB slots on the back to turn the router into a file server, 1 slot that supports an eSATA drive and 1 that supports USB 3.0.
Ultimately, while a great router, if you don't have Killer-enabled PC devices that you use for PC gaming, the device is probably excessive for your needs.

Bose Quality, Great Wireless

Bose continues their line of QC noise-cancelling headphones with a new version of the QC35 wireless, Bluetooth-enabled headphones.
Comparing these to wired QC headphones you simply cannot tell the difference, with no data or sound quality loss over Bluetooth. The ear pieces are well-padded and fit comfortably over the ear, making a great seal to make the noise cancelling work, even if you wear glasses (a slight problem with previous versions of the QC where your glasses would leave a slight gap allowing outside noise in).
Pairing is simple with no "hold these 3 buttons down" sequence, rather just switch the headphones on & push the on button to the pairing position & follow the voice prompts. Annoyingly, though, each time it connects to a device it will spell out the name of the device you have connected to which, for some cell phones, can be long and tedious to listen to.
Sound quality is what you would expect from Bose, with virtual surround sound in the headphones, making these great for watching movies in addition to music. The built-in mic allows you to carry on phone calls easily, with individuals surprised I was talking on a pair of headphones versus holding the phone up to my ear.
Battery life is amazing, touting over 20 hours of wireless use on 1 charge, more time if you opt to connect with the optional headphone wire (included, mainly for use with airline on-board entertainment systems), which eliminates the Bluetooth power draw. Rechargeable batteries in the QC35II is a split blessing, though, requiring a recharge versus a simple replacement of batteries with other QC models. On long trips the convenience of dropping in fresh batteries versus having to discontinue use & recharge has its advantages. But Bose touts 2.5 hours of use on 15 minutes of charge, although I haven't personally done the math.
The case is a nice semi-rigid zipper case which makes for easy & safe storage. I suggest you save the foam spacer that comes with it to make for a better fit when stowed.
Bose offers a BoseConnect app (Android and iPhone), which isn't required to attach to your phone, but is required to update the firmware in the headphones, especially after unboxing. Expect a 15-minute period to update the firmware before using the headphones the first time. The app also allows you to customize the sound, in addition to customizing the action button on the side. Out-of-the-box, the button is set to toggle between the various noise-cancelling levels, but can be changed to launch the Google Assistant if you have an Android phone (optional). If you're using an iPhone, the button remains a noise-cancelling level button.
The bottom line is that this meets any expectation you have for a Bose product. While they're nowhere near the cheapest noise-cancelling headphones on the market, Bose's name and the technology behind the device help put these at the top of the list.

Harmony Features at a Lower Price

Designed for the budget-conscious consumer looking for Logitech Harmony quality but at a lower price point, this remote does the trick.
While it lacks many of the bells & whistles of remotes costing well north of $150, such as large touch screens and recharging docks, this remote packs just as much power & capability.
The device was easy to program using the Logitech software (required to download) and the included USB cable. Logitech has done a great job in building in programming codes for thousands of devices, and my device came right up when I put the model number in. I did find that it didn't initially turn the TV off when I wanted it to, but with a new device added the screen will display an option for a "helper" which will try other codes & then ask you if it was fixed. Saying "yes" on the screen will fix the issue & have had no issues since. So far the device is programmed for 2 TVs, a soundbar, cable box, and a couple of other devices in the house and all work great.
To get to the "Smart TV" features on my Samsung TV it was a little more of a challenge. Adding "Watch Movies" as an "Activity" (series of steps beyond just turning a device on) on the remote required me to do a lot of manual programming since each TV's "Smart" apps are arranged in different places. My Netflix app on the TV is the 3rd dock option, but the remote always wants to start the Smart TV at the middle app. This required manual programming of steps to launch the dock, individual steps to go "left" all the way to the end, then steps to go back to the "right" to get to the app. Though this took maybe 10-15 minutes of programming to do, once set it's perfect. Hit the "Watch Movies" activity button at the top & the TV turns on, smart apps are launched, and Netflix is selected. The "Listen to Music" activity button required the same manual programming to bring the selections to the proper smart app for the music app on the TV. Again, time consuming, but one required to do the 1 time.
The device is powered with (2) AA batteries & are not rechargeable like other Harmony remotes, but that's not a bad thing. With other Harmony remotes I have had issues with the pins on the charging dock not connecting cleanly to the remote & thus it never charges. This eliminates that (so long as you're willing to buy AA batteries every now & then).
Bottom line is that this remote is a nice entry-level remote with luxury-level features. A good purchase for someone looking for a universal remote to control a single TV or a whole theatre room without breaking the bank.

I bought & reviewed this item and initially gave it a high rating, only to have it break a week later & couldn't edit my post.
Bottom line is that this device breaks way too easily at the clip that holds the phone. Others who have reviewed this I believe found the same thing. The first one purchased lasted maybe 3 weeks tops before breaking.
It fits the Samsung Galaxy, despite some reviews.
I've now taken to gingerly putting the phone into & pulling it out of the clip for fear of breaking it again at this cost. It's utterly disappointing that Mophie would design something with such a clear flaw (seeing that almost everyone complains about it breaking). Unfortunately, the alternate option from Mophie, which is a spring-loaded "universal" clip, isn't any better (allowing the phone to easily pop out if bumped).
Look, I know most people don't wear their phones on clips anymore, but some of us in our line of work pretty much have to wear something on a belt. It would be nice to get a quality purchase.

I love my Galaxy S6, but the battery life is a killer, lasting barely a half a work day. That's where the Mophie comes in. This provides a 100% recharge of the battery with a single case charge, meaning it truly doubles the battery life of the device. The device does a passthru charge, meaning if the Mophie and the device are dead, plugging in a charging cable charges both devices at once, so no disassembly required to charge the case.
ONE WORD OF WARNING: It will NOT charge properly using the Samsung-provided "rapid charge" brick and cable. You MUST use a different charging brick.
The case has internal shock protection built-in protecting your phone from drops.
The other great thing about this case is the speaker redirect. The S6 has the speaker on the bottom edge of the phone, which makes it difficult to hear a lot of the time. Because the case covers the speakers, they have an internal sound channel that redirects the sound to the front of the device, coming out just under the screen, which does a great job of amplifying the sound. (The only down side to this design comes about if you want to also use the Mophie belt clip, in which case the speakers on the surface of the device now sit up against the case back, muting the sound).

I am a huge fan of Zagg screen protectors, and this product is no different. If you're spending $200+ on a smartwatch, you would be well-advised to protect the screen from dings & scratches, and this is just the answer.
I have already bumped the watch on doors and walls a couple of times pretty hard, and the Zagg takes the beating and keeps my watch looking new.
The only frustration, as seems to be the case with all Zagg products, is a confusing method for installing the protector. There are always 2 sides of adhesive to pull off, and I found myself trying to attach the protector with the wrong side down due to a lack of decent instructions. Once I got it resolved, and peeled the right side off, I ended up with a huge fingerprint on the "sticky side down". Take your time I research the application of the cover.

While I knew the new Gear line was coming out in a couple of weeks, I prefer the square screen to the Gears' new round screen.
The device tracks all of your activity, up to and including sleep. Notifications are good on the device (although if you're using the Textra app for SMS/MMS messaging be aware that you will receive "Delivery Receipt" notifications 3x for every person on the MMS to the watch, despite having this feature turned off). I wish it were a little easier to customize the apps you use most often, you end up having to to that in the Apps folder, which is unwieldy.
Battery life is pretty good, am getting about 2.5 days on a single charge, although I'm less than thrilled with the charger for the unit (plate that snaps onto the back of the watch, powered by a micro-USB cord). Would have preferred to have a micro-USB right on the watch so I can charge it anywhere, versus realizing it's dying and can't do anything with it until I get home.
I do like being able to answer the phone from the watch & speak thru the watch if I can't immediately grab my phone, but remember it is Bluetooth & not a standalone device for phone use.
Additionally, remember that this is a Samsung device, and therefore only works with Samsung phones. It is not a generic, use-with-any-device watch.
The black band with the brushed aluminum highlights on the clasp and face of the watch make it look good whether you're dressing casual or formal. It goes with everything.
The cost rivals other wearable tech that has much smaller screens or turns the display sideways (Windows watch). This is a great device at a great price.

Works like it should, although it does charge slower than a direct plug-in. I often find myself pulling the cord from the puck to direct charge it if I need a more rapid charge. Also, if I need to use it while charging, well, leaving it on the puck isn't much of an option.
One thing I was impressed with is that it will still charge wirelessly even with an Otter Box Defender case on it. Something I didn't think of when buying it but was happy when it still worked.

I am looking to get a new Drone for outdoor flying. Should I consider this one or the DJI? I will be mostly inspecting the roofs for my clients so I need an hour or so of battery life (I will buy additional batteries). I may wish to record indoors too.
You'll want additional batteries; you get about 25 minutes per battery. The device has no collision avoidance sensors which means you could unintentionally fly it into obstructions or obstacles. But, this could be an advantage if you're careful in that you can get closer to a certain point that DJI's Mavic will allow before Mavic's sensors stop any forward flight. But to me, the risk of possibly crashing into something due to a lack of collision avoidance sensors makes spending a couple hundred dollars more on the Mavic makes sense. Yes, it's $200 more or so, but flying into something & crashing for lack of sensors means you're out the full $800 of the Anafi. So it's a cost-benefit risk you take. Also, remember if you're inspecting roofs you're flying in a commercial capacity & you will need to obtain your FAA Part 107 flight certification.

Does this laptop have voice to text recognition? So I can talk instead of typing?
You would need a 3rd party program to do that. MS Office, for example, has accessibility features that would allow that within the MS Office programs. Otherwise, you would need to buy Dragon or something like that; there is nothing built-in.

what is the expected hours of bulb life?
This depends greatly on the mode & brightness you're using, so it's difficult to answer this question. Even Epson's website does not list it. The device can be projected at a variety of brightnesses and can be put into an ECO mode, which saves battery life. Like most projectors, the bulb should start to dim (instead of blow) when it's getting low on remaining life, giving you plenty of time to get a new one.
