So, I will start off with the pros:
Great sound. Surround sound works beautifully.
Decently comfortable.
Lights are a neat addon.
Software control is easy to understand.

Cons:
Firmware upgrade was a bit of pain. The included USB cable is -very- stiff. Make sure you plug it in completely.
Lights need to be turned off to achieve best battery life, of course.
Prolonged wear causes my ears to get hot. Breathable cuffs would be nice; however, that would cut out the passive noise-cancelling.
Getting the mic gain to work properly with Teamspeak was a bit of a hassle; however, it is much more clear than my prior headset.

So if you have trouble updating firmware: Go to the logitech website and download the management software (LGS) and it becomes easy.
Turn off the lights for best battery life (can be done through the software). If you ever have a connection issue after updating firmware, just pull out the receiver and power cycle the headphones, along with checking to make sure your playback device is set to the headphones!

I purchased this particular controller for maximum compatibility with various platforms: android, pc and being able to use nvidia gamestream/moonlight/steam streaming on other devices. You can pair this with a computer that doesn't have bluetooth by adding a insignia bluetooth adapter as well. Works flawlessly. Great battery life. I've had it going for two months already on a set of rechargeables with moderate usage.

Where is the mic?
Left ear. It folds up/down along with being able to extend out a couple of inches. Folding it up also mutes the mic.
