Reading reviews it seems to be hit or miss if it works. Reality is, it probably isn't in the unit itself, but Windows 10 seeing fragments of other installs. I attempted several installs, USB with Broadcom drivers, and a PCIe card same brand as motherboard and Intel drivers. The reason I returned it was the lack of support. I had another USB unit purchased elsewhere and actually had a live persons corresponding with me via email to resolve the issue. I first ran a program they sent, created a zip file and returned to them where they could see the operations. They noted the other install attempts, including the Intel driver attempt and sent me instructions on how to clean up, removing the fragments, then reinstalling. It worked.

Tried to get away with a cheaper alternative but had serious problems with lag and other issues. This Wacom is like night and day and well worth the extra cost. Feel is quite smooth vs the scratchy feel of the knockoff. Also, no lag as it responds to the various inputs. Finally, it takes customizing to the next level. Like others, you can program pen and tablet buttons for shortcuts. What makes this one stand out is that it can be program specific and the buttons can reflext the keyboard shortcut for the specific program in use as the same keyboard shortcut may initiate a totally different action in different programs.

Had plenty of DVD's that could burn them to but this is far more flexible as can re-arrange files into different groups. Couldn't do that with DVD or if set up as slideshow presentation. Got this USB 2.0 version at the closest store so I knew 4 GB was good. Search nearby stores for faster USB 3.0 version which my closest store(s) didn't have but was noted was enroute to parents. Always expand out search if closest store indicates out of stock.

Upgraded from a V100 scanner have had for years. While it did 35mm film/slides, I needed one that did both 35mm and 120 film/slides as wife found old B&W negatives of her as a child she had never seen. Local camera store was going to print them at a reasonable price, but when brought the negatives in learned that was not old style chemical processing, but scan at $5 each then inkjet print. Did the math and paid for an upgrade. Scanner works great. Software is a little dated but had the same look and feel I was use to. The V100 was having problems with upgrade to Windows 10, but this one has no problem. However, as I downloaded the most current driver and software from Epson (didn't use the enclosed CD) for the V550, did note that they also had a patch/update for the V100 that addressed the windows 10 issue.

So much is taken for granted but so essential. Fast USB 3.0 responsive and good capacity. Very straight forward and easy setup. Used this one for archiving freeing up space on the PC's primary drive. I simplified it to one step by grouping client photos in year folders, keeping the past year on the active hard drive, so as I created the 2018 folder, moved the 2016 folder to this drive.

If used “wired”, is there such a thing as a 25’ wire? What kind of battery does it take? If battery is not replaceable, how much does it cost to replace? How do you charge the battery? If USB cable, can that connect to the Sony TV, Model XBR-55X850D?
Good luck finding any wire, short or 25' long. Most headphone use a 3.5mm audio jack on both ends. Bose, in their wisdom, elected to keep one side the industry standard 3.5mm so could plug into something, but elected to downsize the jack on the headphone to 2.5mm. Best Buy does not carry any 2.5 to 3.5 cables, but can find some online, but not certain about the 25' length. The USB cable is for charging and transmits no audio, so youd do little good hooking up to a Sony TV...other than charging the headphone.

Most recent Apples that are Intel based can read and write to a Windows formatted drive. In fact I have a Lacie portable hard drive with the primary partition formatted for Apple OSX, but a decondary partition formatted for windows. I have to move files into that partition if I want to have Windows see it for transfer, while Apple can see both formats.

i have a Lenovo k330b desktop. I wonder if this grahpics car would be compatible with it.
Couldn't find manual on Lenovo site so will require taking cover off to look. From specs, appears that is a Core i3 machine using on-board video. Yes, this will be a significant upgrade. Now, with the cover off, to see if will work...
1) The first two PCI-E slots (from center of computer - not bottom) should be free. You plug into one but physically requires 2 slots. (If occupied - which doubt, would be another video card and your monitor cable comes from it, but will be discarded). This is a long card so make sure has clearance to fit lengthwise.
2) Power Supply. Manufacturers are notorious for putting in barest minimum power supply so may need to upgrade. Card specs state 400w required and should be sufficient on an i3 machine but suggest 600w. Make sure the existing power supply has a spare power line for the card, either 6 or 8 pin, adapters are included.
3) Finally, disable the on-board video. Relatively easy and should have instructions from Lenovo manuals or a support ticket.
