Why Buy Bottled Water

Have had Samsung frig for about 7-8 years and have replaced this filter regularly every six months or so. The water tastes much better than what comes out of the faucet and is always cold because it is located inside the refrigerator. I do often wonder if the filter really needs to be replaced every six months because I have sometimes gone months longer and noticed no real difference in taste. Overall, it's a great filter.

Great Picture Quality

Did extensive research before purchasing with a great Black Friday price deal. It was between this and LG 55" OLED. The salesperson recommended I go with the 65" Samsung 8500 and it was great advice. The picture quality is outstanding and especially noticeable watching normal TV programming such as dramas. I never realized how good the quality of the sets were before buying this TV, especially so in night or darker lighted sceens. Color quality and picture detail are outstanding. No blurr watching sporting events either. Overall, a great, high quality viewing experience.

What is the freezer compartment like? No photos online. Specifically, is it a basket or solid plastic? Does the top drawer pull all the way out, or stop half way'ish?
The top drawer in the freezer slides out to about four inches of the front door wall. The drawer itself is made from some sort of plastic and is of good quality. It is not a basket. The freezer compartment is fairly large. There is also a thin tray attached to the front of the door - pretty useless as not much really fits in it. Our older one was much better as it was wider and deeper, thus much more practical for placing items, like beer mugs, for easy access.

What is the difference between a HU and JS model?
After looking at Samsung's web site I cannot see a model with the HU prefix? The JS line is one step up from the JU line - with JS having more picture technology.

dts-hd master audio
Does the arc HDMI pass through Dts-hd master audio? I connected the blu ray and cable box to the connect mini box instead of the AV receiver this time. Or should I connect the bluray directly to the receiver? Does anyone have any advice?
I have AV surround sound receiver. I have three connections into the smart connect box - one connect from box to TV, HDMI 1 input from AV, and optical from AV. The optical cable from box to AV is needed in order to receive audio through surround sound when watching WI-Fi video. My Bluetooth DVD connects directly to the AV receiver.
