This was more of a spur of the moment purchase. I needed a mini to full HDMI to connect my Mac to an older plasma 42" so I could stream movies for the children. The Insgnia did just the trick without breaking the bank. Not recommended if you're looking for that 4K experience, but handles standard and 720 HD very well be it movies or working with applications on a larger screen. Audio was sufficient.
