I was looking for a headset/mic combination for on-line seminars. I bought two due to the price. My wife uses one for her on-line stuff, and one of our sons uses the other for gaming. Both say these are excellent and work well. For the price I rate them as outstanding. I am quite sure one can find a higher-functioning unit for $200, but for the price of $39.95 this unit is amazing. Mic and headsets are not studio quality, but both provide better than adequate sound.

Very nice laptop for son going into middle school

I am fortunate to have a friend who is an IT officer with a local company so I got some good advice about what to get my son who is required to have a laptop for next school year. He recommended this unit. Setup took a long time, but I knew what I was doing and part of the reason for the time is I chose to use and install my household Norton antivirus instead of the one included with the unit. My son really likes this. It easily transforms from a laptop to a tablet, the screen's resolution makes it easy to see things, and the processor speed is good. It came with a 1TB hard drive, and since this won't be a gaming computer he should have all of the space he needs. After he gets it to school in the fall and runs it through its paces there I might have different things to say but for now I give this a true "thumbs-up". Oh, and considering the screen size the unit it really light and easily portable. That is one of the reasons my friend recommended it and he was right.

I have purchased these for both of my sons and I have a pair I use as a backup. (I like my Sennheiser a bit better).. For the cost these are really good, the bass response is pretty good, and the sound quality is very good. If you are looking for something decent in the $40-$50 range, these fit the bill quite well. They don't have the audio quality of a Beats, but they also don't fall apart when one breathes on them as Beats do.

This device was purchased for me as a gift by one of my children. I could not be happier. The small size makes it exceptionally portable, but the sound is that of a device much larger. It's really good for outdoor BBQ by the pool, and we do a lot of that. I like the rubber "legs" at the bottom. They grip nicely so I don't worry about the device slipping. The other night I used it to play soft music while falling asleep. I have yet to drain the battery, it seems to have several hours of life. If you're looking for a booming bass like one would get from a subwoofer, you're not going to get that from this unit. But it had a decent bass response and the sound quality is very good. This is one of my favorite gifts in a long time.

For the price (got it on-sale for around $650) this has been a good purchase. My teenage son uses it for gaming and TV. East set-up as well. Multiple HDMI inputs and an HDMI audio output, so setting up with surround sound was a breeze. Nice looking unit as well. The son is happy with it. I think the picture is about 90% of what it should be, but I'm a plasma snob. He loves the talking remote.
