Got the MATE, sufficient for 100ft Bluetooth radio-finder range, hence 4-star rating, just b4 the newest models arrived 08/08/2017. Subsequently got the newest models; SPORT and STYLE, which have a superior 2x radio-finder Bluetooth range of 200ft. I feel these are worthy of 5-stars, and the additional $5 purchase cost. When I travel, I know my golf clubs got loaded on the plane. Now, even the pooch (aka "Girlfriend") has a STYLE on her collar with her dogtag. I know if she's "jonesing" for cookies, over at the neighbor's house. Do yourself a favor --> get the STYLE and/or SPORT models.

Safest way: purchases thru the iTunes+App store

Teens: since you don't have credit cards, yet --> don't link up your ATM/debit card to your iTunes / App.Store / Apple Store account.

You could bounce a check doing this. You have less identity theft protections using a Debit card, than a Credit card. So, don't do it.

Instead, the smart thing to do, is go to a Best Buy store. Use either 1)cash, or 2)Debit card, or 3)Credit card (for adults/retirees) and buy an iTunes GIFT CARD.

You then logon to your iTunes account, scroll down to the bottom of the page, then click the REDEEM radio icon button. Next, use the camera on our iPhone or iPad, to read the CARD NUMBER on the back of the gift card (peel the protective gray plastic strip off, first).

That's it - it's just that easy. Now you've safely loaded funds into your account. You don't need a credit card, but you are rolling like a big wheel, that does!

Hello my Q is ReTile location? I just being my Tile in to get a new one? Its stop working no sound nothing, its only 8m old . I'm lost with out it Please help
The sound is controlled by the App on your smartphone.

If you tap on the ICON photo of your model tile in the App, the Bluetooth transceiver in your phone silently "pings" that tile tracker device. The app will show green rings adding multiple concentric rings as you gain closer proximity to your tile. The tile remains silent. Useful, just to verify your stuff is within range. Since it is quiet, this ping mode uses less power from the tile's battery (no speaker), assuring a life of >1yr.

If you want to find your tile audibly (lost car keys that you know must be somewhere inside the house), instead, tap on the GREEN "find" button in the App. You can remotely control whether the volume is either on or off on your tile. This is helpful if you desire "stealth mode", which again, is more battery efficient. It is useful to not audibly tip-off thieves, that the device is in the car, so it can do its work and rat-out their location. Having one hidden in your car, is akin to having a poor-man's LoJack type device, without the related cost.

When the battery eventually gets depleted (>1yr), your tile will communicate this to you thru your App. You can then send it in the free provided shipping envelope to obtain a replacement, via the ReUp program.
