This is the best TV I have ever owned...

I did a lot of research before deciding on this 4K TV. One of the main criteria for buying a 4K TV is that it needs to be future proof, at least for 3 - 5 years (LG is coming out with 8K TV next year `:-&). This 4K TV is the only one in its class received THX certification with 4 HDMI 2.0 ports. I have been watching various TV shows and movies (no 4K content yet) on it at different times and it has performed very well in all settings. If you are like me, a gadget person, and willing to take a hit in your wallet, get this TV! BTW, I have it mounted on a wall right above an in-wall fireplace. The viewing angle is not 100% perfect, which does not exist in this world anyway, but it's perfect watching it while cooking away in kitchen (I have an open floor concept). Love it!

Simply the best wall mount...

It's by far the best wall mount that I have come across. However, it does require two persons to install it correctly. Don't get intimidated by the hardware which comes with it. You most likely only need to secure the leg bolts assuming you have good stud finder and know how to use it. Remember to level it! Just for your reference, I have it mounted above an in-wall gas fireplace, which I contemplated a lot before installing it. I also have a Sonos playbar between fireplace and TV. Just make sure you leave at least 6 inches between your playbar and fireplace. It goes without saying that you SHOULD test the fireplace to get the most safe distance between fireplace and playbar/TV. This is not a one-size-fits-all advice so take it with grain of salt and at your own risk. I think the safest thing to do, if you are not a very handy person, is to have professionals install it for you so you don't need to sweat bullets and would have a piece of mind.
