Maybe the Moto x 2016 isn't the best smartphone out there but at the current price of $250 it's hard to beat. The response is snappy with no discernible lag (except for one of my apps that has a lot of data associated with it and it's not really a problem once past start up). The Moto services are great and I really am a fan of no bloatware. I love the styling and it fits my hand beautifully (I have large but not huge hands). The camera could be better but that's not a big thing for me. The battery is very good and usually gets me through the day. Turbo charging is great. If you are a heavy user the battery on the Moto G seems better. Highly recommended for the casual user.

Works better than expected

We had a router and an extender that just wasn't doing the job. It's a small house but the metal in the centrally located kitchen was just keeping the signal from going through. We replaced both units with this and the signal is terrific. Streaming video in both ends of the house is now a breeze. No issues.

...and it does it well. This is an additional unit I got so that I would have one in each vehicle I use. I have been using the device for about two years now. It may not work as well on older smartphones (it was a little iffy on my LG Optimus Elite) but it works just fine with my Moto x. The $$$ is in my bank the next business day. No fuss, no muss.

Will this filter work for the upcoming lunar eclipse
First off I believe you are referring to the SOLAR Eclipse later this month. The answer to your question is ABSOLUTELY NOT! Using this lens filter is not appropriate to photographing even a partial solar eclipse. You need a highly specialized lens filter to photograph a solar eclipse. Using only a CP filter will likely ruin your camera's sensor and you stand a good chance of irreparable damage to your eye's retina. Be content with photographing the reactions of those around you during the event. I cannot stress enough that you should NOT view a solar eclipse without the proper viewing filters for you or your camera.
