Discover the power of extreme detail with this Dell 24-inch monitor. The 1440p resolution is ideal for high-intensity gaming, where that little bit of extra detail can make the difference between a win and a loss.
Probably, one of the best monitors you can get for the price, if you're looking for the features that this monitor offers: 1440P, G-Sync, and 144/165hz refresh rate. I researched several monitors in this category and the Dell came out on top of other monitors with the same features, in my opinion, as it was priced lower than the competitors, especially when on sale, and got very favorable reviews on other sites from most users. I got it when it was on sale for 399.99. I think the normal price is $100 more but it seems to go on sale very frequently. Another thing I like is that there are 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 on the side and 2 on the bottom, which are always nice to have.
I debated getting this or a 4K monitor to pair with my 1080 TI. I opted for this one because I feel that 4K monitors are still a little overpriced and most of them "only" run at 60hz, which might be fine for gaming(with G-Sync) but would increase the odds of getting eyestrain while doing non-gaming tasks.
In the near future, you can probably get a 4K monitor with HDR and 120+hz for a similar price than this but if you need a monitor now, this is a great monitor for the price!
One minor negative is that the monitor doesn't have built-in speakers but it's not enough to deduct a star, as most people would use headphones or have external speakers, anyways.

I only used this item a few times but it worked flawlessly. I returned the item because I purchased an Nvidia Shield TV, which has Google Cast built-in and the Chromecast was no longer needed. It seemed redundant having this when I didn't need it anymore but it's very affordable and works very well.

The remote is very small but well-built. My only gripe I had with it is that the volume would go up and down by itself at random times but only happened when I was holding it. I even made sure no fingers were anywhere near the volume slider, which is touch-sensitive and is accessed by sliding a finger up or down on the remote, below the search button.
Besides that, the remote worked great but the volume issue was enough for me to return it and to just use the included controller as the remote, which works very well. I looked on Google and I haven't found anyone else with the same issue I had, so, it's probably a very rare occurrence. If it wasn't for that issue, this would be a 5 star item and highly recommended. Also, the price could and should be a little lower, in my opinion though.
Even though I only gave this item one star, perhaps, I got a faulty remote or something was interfering with the bluetooth signal of the remote? I would still recommend this remote if you feel the need to have one, as it does feel weird using a game controller as a remote.

I bought the Pro version for it's extra 500GB of storage. This device excels at streaming and gaming. I chose this over the Roku 3 and new Fire TV for a streaming device due to it being much faster and for it's ability to run Kodi and many emuators(MAME, etc), plus, the capability to stream at 4K 60hz, which makes it fairly "future proof". It's gaming ability is also top-notch, which lies somewhere between the last generation's consoles(Xbox 360, PS3) and the current ones(Xbox One, PS4), at least hardware-wise. I just downloaded Doom 3 and it runs smooth and looks great. Obviously, the games selection is way below the consoles but there is still plenty to choose from, including android games to high end PC games and many of them are FREE.
The Play Store isn't the full version you'd find on any Android phone but many apps or games you can't find there can be "side-loaded" via ES Explorer. Also, this device can be rooted, just like a phone, but I haven't found the need to do that just yet.
All in all, this is probably the best streaming device on the market, with only the Roku 4 rivaling it, in my opinion, and it's a bonus that it's also a decent gaming system, too, and I hope this device gets even better with future firmware updates.
