First, I have been looking at 60"-65" 4K tvs for a few months so I was not in a rush to purchase. I did read a lot of customer reviews and made quite a few visits to Best Buy to look at products. Best Buy folks were always helpful and never pushy. After much gathering of not too technical information, I concluded that I was going to have to make my own decision on which tv to purchase based on my needs ( movie and sports watching) and at my price point. I decided this LG product was it. I can say I am satisfied with its performance ( one month of ownership). Picture quality is very good, no blur on my Golden State Warrior games, and best of all, I don't feel the need for a sound bar to make up for loudness. At 1/4 the volume output, the lg 7700 is comfortable for my ears in a medium sized family room! I fooled around with customizing picture settings and found a suitable output for me. Not sure what the fuss is about light bleeding? I don't usually watch a completely black screen to notice that. Anyway, I am happy with my purchase and have trusted LG products. I have a LG washer and dryer set, purchased from Best Buy still going strong for 12 years. Secondly, I want to mention the fact that I didn't want any stress about returning a tv if I was dissatisfied with a product. Free delivery and haul away of my old, defunct 200 lb rear projection tv was a plus! I am a member of the big warehouse stores and they seem to carry mid level tv products, at best. The only other tv I considered was a Samsung and their price points were $300-$500 more for the equivalent level LG product. So, I believe I can save you a lot of time searching when I recommend this tv! Lastly, you want a 5 star rating from your next tv purchase? Then purchase an OLED tv from LG. Peace out!
