This SanDisk Pixtor SDSDUSC-032G-AB6CN SDHC memory card resists water, shocks, extreme temperatures and x-rays to allow use in a variety of harsh environmental conditions. The Class 10 rating enables smooth, high-definition video capture.

Works. I opened it, put it in the camera, fed it hundreds and hundreds of pictures. It holds the pics. It's a memory card.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4+ image processor of this Canon PowerShot SX530 HS digital camera combine to form the HS SYSTEM, which helps enhance quality in low-light conditions, so you can capture the shot you want, wherever you are. .

Great camera for a beginner

This was the first camera I've purchased in years. I have to say, it's simple and straightforward to use and understand. It has just a bit more ability than I have know-how, but that makes me feel like I got the right amount of bang for my buck.
It takes wonderful pictures in any light. It has a 50x zoom which is wonderful. I'm taking pictures I never would have imagined I could have with a point and shoot. Then, when you factor in its' 200x optical zoom, you're really getting something special. Granted, the clarity at that level is not great, and you need very steady hands or a secure surface, but the fact that you have that tool at your disposal is shocking. An example; my wife and I recently drove to the top of Mt Washington in NH (elevation 6,288 ft.). From the summit I was able to zoom in and photograph the lodge at the base. The additional pictures we were able to take with 100 miles of visibility were also great.
Similarly, camping in the Adirondacks; I was able to take basic shots of camp, stunning shots of smoke on the water in the early morning, and beautiful, vibrant shots of sunrises and sunsets over the lake. I'm not a photographer, but this camera sure makes me feel like one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Software

I noticed there's no software included with this package. How does one upload a video to the computer for better viewing?
Just plug it into your computer and upload them to the location of your choice. Then use any software your computer comes with to view the videos. Simple.

No built-in flash? How does it perform in low light indoors?

Like a restaurant with dim lighting or out on the street at night etc.

What are the flash options?
It automatically detects low lights and will tell you right on the display "Raise the Flash." If you want to shoot in low-light for some reason you can disregard and just snap the photo. Or you can just simply flip the flash up and then pop it back down when you're done with it.

I prefer this to the mechanical flip-up flash. Less moving parts to accidentally go bad. Flip this flash up when you need it, pop it back down when you don't.
