This was a gift for my 10 year old Autistic son who loves watching movies. I had these 3 movies on DVD when they became available and after some time they did manage to get scratched and needed to be replaced. I am very happy to have found this Madagascar trilogy Blu-ray box set. All 4 bedrooms and living room have the same samsung bd-h6500 Blu-ray player so I don't really need DVD anymore. The quality of the Blu-ray movies on. This box set are amazing!
I have a couple of samsung smart tvs in my home and have them set with the BD-WISE option turned on, on both the Blu-ray player and the tv. When This feature is on it makes you see your Blu-ray movies the way they were meant to be seen by the producer of the films. I am very happy with the quality of this purchase.

This is a great bluray player. I have 4 of them and each one has a 4 year full replacement warranty from bestbuy incase it should give out, trust me best buy does in fact honor their warranty for bluray players and AV Receivers however when it comes to tvs and cellphones/ tablets it's difficult to get a new replacement usually for those devices they want to give you a refurbished one which most people do not want and constantly complaint about which i dont blame them, i wouldn't want some one else's used goods when it comes to tech. Getting back to the review, if I have 4 of these bdh6500 bluray players in my home you know it's definitely a great product. I have 1 samsung smart tv that is paired with this bluray player and I was able to turn on a feature called BD Wise and man I was blown away!
My older 2007 model samsung tvs don't have the bd wise feature nor does my sharp Aquos 650 series tv but I will be getting a samsung 78 inch HU9000 to go with my living room bluray player soon because it is also bd wise compatible and it also has the capability of being upgraded to a newer ONE CONNECT box for new content and features. once that BD wise is turned on it will play all your bluray movies and cartoons in the best picture quality possible. Dvds also work with the bd wise feature and plays them at their best resolutions and calibration set up. As long as the tv and bluray player are both bd wise compatible, your in good hands with samsung's perfectly calibrated set up. You won't want to go back to standard. Trust me the 120HZ or 240hz your tv has will look amazing and will really make it stand out. This bluray player played every movie i put in it which is excellent. The only 2 things I honestly don't like about this player and wish it had available but not a big deal just want to throw it out there, is 1. The buttons on the player don't light up so at night it could be a bit tricky to control the bluray player with out accidentally ejecting the disc or powering off the player and 2. You can't re arrange the main apps from the player. I use Netflix and youtube alot and I don't use Hulu or amazon prime or any other service so I wish I could put Netflix as my first app and youtube as my second app for easy access but regardless of that small issue, this player is still awesome, "VERY RELIABLE" and I would highly recommend it.

Well this is my second replacement receiver and I figured I would wait a bit before I would give my review on it. The first issue I had with the first receiver was flickering whenever I would turn on the Bluray player which was a samsung bdh6500 excellent bluray player by the way. Anyways i thought it was the bluray player or perhaps the HDMI cable but after i switched the cables around and switched the source input from hdmi 1 to hdmi 5 ect the receiver continued to have the flickering issue with the picture on the tv. I then swapped my bluray player with another one and it did the same flickering problem so I went to best buy and got a replacement. The second seems to be working great so far. Things I like about this receiver is that you can have your bluray player or cable / satellite receiver on and watch it through the tv as well as hear it while the receiver is off but on standby which is still considered off. That setting has to be turned on manually so that you can use that feature. My last yamaha receiver which was a RX-V663 didn't have this feature and I had to have it on at all times in order to watch tv. This is a great feature because my wife doesn't always like to hear my klipsch speakers and sub woofers shaking everything in the house with this receiver it's nice to have the receiver off and be able to watch your programs on tv at night with out waking up the kids with the receiver. Setting up my 7 Klipsch Quintet 5.0 speakers and 2 klipsch sw450 sub woofers with the YPAO microphone was a bit tricky as it took me about 5 times to get the settings right. You must really have your home extremely quiet during this process otherwise you will get an error code w3 every time. The microphone has to be placed where you sit and at the height of your head so that it can calibrate the speakers to that listening height and distance. Once that is set up you will be able to hear the center channel and all the other speakers alot louder and overall balanced in sound with out the subs being too boomy. Just remember to set your sub woofers gain/volume control to 1/2 and your frequency to full range and it will calibrate perfectly! The receiver has been able to decodes every format and movie I can think of which is excellent. My only issue with one of the bluray movies i rented which is "The Hobbit battle of the 5 army's" seems to decode all the background sounds except the main voices of some of the characters which was very annoying but could just be a bad copy because all my other movies decode excellent. Setting up wifi was extremely easy and i was able to set up pandora for internet radio listening. Once i loged in to my pandora account all i had to do on the receiver was press the Net button and pandora would start immediately. The receiver did need a firmware update so when it was done I did have to re log in to pandora but Overall I would highly recommend this receiver if you want premium sound with excellent features this rx-a740 is the way to go.

Well, like the title says. You can also see the full detail on my last review of the same amp. I used the high level inputs with my stock amp that only gives max 9.5 volts but from my deck volume, it has a clear signal at 33 out of 35 and at 33 my voltage is 5 volts and the amp claims to be able to take up to 10 volts. Unfortunately I wasn't able to test out the low level RCA inputs because I didn't have an RCA converter so I can't recommend this amp to anyone due to my bad experience with this amp. I now have a JL Audio HD600/4 with an Audio control LC6I to run my system right and I have had no issue with that amp. Matter of fact that amp is so much louder then my mrx-m55 bass amp so I had to upgrade that to the HD750/1 amp. If your looking for a good bass amp I would highly recommend the mrx-m55, it's a beast for such a small amp.

Well, this was my first apple product and I'm a bit disappointed that it froze on me 3 times and on some apps the volume doesn't work, even when you have the volume all the way up, you just can't hear anything. I would have to fully close the app and open up a random app that I wasn't using to test the Audio volume and if it works I can re open the app and continue where I left off. But the battery life is excellent when you have the brightness at 50% you can exceed 10 hours of game play/ Web browsing. Maybe mine just has a problem from the factory.

The leather cover is very well made. It protects the galaxy tab S 10.5 inch tablet very well, What I like about it is that you can use it well as a stand and it has 3 positions you can adjust it to.
It keeps the screen well protected with its soft cover and simply clips on to the back of the tablet with a little bit of pressure. Keep in mind that this is only a cover and not an otterbox defender series case, so if you so happen to drop the tablet by accident. The screen will most likely break. So just be careful with your new product. I would still highly rrecommend it to anyone looking for a very comfortable case where you don't have to worry about holding a thick case and loose the quality feel of the galaxy Tab.

The screen resolution is extremely crystal clear and the performance this tablet has via wifi is amazingly fast! The most things I like about this tablet is that it has an external micro sd card slot on the side so that you can upgrade your memory from the 16gb to up an additional 128gb! The tablet has 3 gigs of ram and only uses about 1.35 gigs of ram when running a few apps in the tablet. The touch screen is very responsive, has an excellent quality build feel and has a very reasonable battery life span of about 6 to 7 hours of constant use with the OLED display on full brightness. Oh half the brightness you do get the full 10 hours, I bought this tablet for my wife for our 10th year wedding anniversary and she loves it and so do i. I will have to get one of these for my self. My wife uses this tablet mainly for cooking recipes, online searching, YouTube and Netflix and all the shows on Netflix look superior on this tablet. I would highly recommend it.

Well I remember watching these series on tv and I am amazed at the beautiful Detail of the Bluray version of Batman. The picture quality is amazing. I am using a Sony BDP-S301 bluray player at 24 frames per second and a sharp Aquos 650 series 60 inch tv with 120HZ refresh rates. This set up Is perfect for this bluray series. I loved the way it was packaged. The die cast hot wheels replica of the bat mobile came in excellent conditions, some complaint on youtube of it coming broken but mine came fine. The collectable cards are an exact replica of the cards Adam west used on one of the shows. The bluray discs came very well packaged as well but I found them to be a bit hard to remove from the case, so be careful not to break the disc or the case it's in. Do your best to remove it carefully. Other then that. I am very satisfied with this product and I hope that my quick review helps you in choosing to purchase this awesome collectible disc set. Remember only 95,000 copies were made so make sure you get yours before they sell out. I know the price is a bit high but I used my best buy credit card for the purchase and got the 6 months no interest financing, making it a pleasure to purchase and pay in small installments.

Well honestly, whwn it comes to decoding. Usually you need an Audio Video Receiver that can decode those audio formats. When you jave a movie on that has that decoding just simply keep your bluray player on pcm as its the best format for auto decoding and let your receiver do the rest of the work. If your receiver doesn't have those decoding features, you wont be able to use them unfortunately. Hope this helps.

What are my keyboard options?
I see that Samsung has a wireless keyboard in Best Buy for the smart tvs but do they also work on the BD-H6500 ?
As well are the aftermarket wireless keyboards compatible with the 6500 as well and what models would they be?

Unfortunately no, i took the risk and bought a keyboard for my 6500 bluray player but i couldn't get it to connect via Bluetooth like it was stating on the manual. I ended up taking the wireless keyboard back to the store.

Can you change the screen or picture size on a 3D movie so that the picture fills the screen?
Usually you can by going to the settings of the bluray player and changing the aspec ratio to 16:9 wide or streched. Depending on the tv you have you can also change the same settings with your tv remote under a button called view mode which is on my sharp tv and allows me to stretch the screen, you might have this option available on your tv. Hope this info helps.

Can I see 3D Movies in my tv Samsung 4kUHD? Even if this is not 3DO using this Blueray?
Unfortunately no, both the tv and bluray player must both be 3D compatible.

Bluetooth
Can I plug in Bluetooth transmitter for my wireless headset to this unit? Thanks for any help.
As long as your transmitter has a Optical or Digital Coaxial input i dont see why not. However if it only has a RCA left and right channel input. You can connect it to youe tv rca outputs and just turn your speakers from your tv off and use the bluetooth headphones on that with the bluray player connected to the tv.

Does this play music cds? I just returned BD-J7500 which had trouble reading track 12 of a cd.
Yeah, mine played a journey cd that has 18 somgs per disc and it had no issues playing it.

can i access google store with this device?
HI. can I access google store with this device. I am particularly looking to install hbo now app. I have sony smart blue rays but you cant install hbo on them.
Unfortunately no, i tried using google play through the web browser but it just wouldn't let me select anything. HBO now is also not available. It used to be but maybe samsung didnt renew the license to continue using it on theyre devices.

Can i use this with my 6500 series smart tv that I was told had web browsing capabilities, and doesnot, to search and view whatever i want on the web without restrictions?
Well. It depends what you mean by restrictions, the web on the BD H6500 pretty much works identical to a smartphone's web browser but only a bit more sluggish when it comes to typing in the search bar with the remote using 1 letter at a time.

You can try getting a Klipsch KMC3 it comes with a remote to control the volume and power but unfortunately will not change tracks with any kind of mp3 player including the ipod or any android phone. But sounds Fantastic.
