If I only want to turn an indoor wall fixture that has no easily accessible switch on & off, with no colors or dimming, do I need a bridge? I understand it needs a hub to do fancy lighting things, but I am not clear on if it works without one?
Yes you do need a bridge however once you get one you can buy a switch that you can use to control it without the use of your phone.

They are shorter then what comes with the controller originally however they make for a comfortable fit and good replacement if you have lost your originals.

Can you use chromecast with a projector
Trying to stream video and sound to a vivitek projector thats connected to a sound system. Will a chromecast and chromecast audio work?
As long as your projector has an hdmi input
