I really really wanted a 4k monitor and this is just sub 4k. It also has a lot of good features like wide screen and curve that a 4k does not. I was really hesitant to get a DELL monitor because I've had previous bad DELL experiences and always just gone with Samsung or LG. I have been pleasantly surprised with this purchase and it works lovely with my mac pro. I couldn't have found a better monitor, other than price of course.

Good for the price, but some improvements needed

So I was looking for an inexpensive solution for our guest room - which led me to this product based on price. The features are basic and it does the job, but there is definitely some room for improvement. Being in a guest room the item gets moderate use - which you would think the batteries would last a long time. WRONG!!! The batteries are dead every week - be prepared to have lots of extras around. I did my research to find out the cause of this and it turns out there is some sort of sensing mechanism in the remote that causes it to constantly draw power - how nice. I've never seen anything eat batteries like this. I have seen the unit crash a couple of times which is always fun. When it works it works and when it doesn't there isn't a darned thing you can do. I guess you can't ask for too much based on the price.
