Great Google alternative...

Not a bad alternative to the Google Home. The speakers on this device are rather nice, a tad more bass-ier than the Google home and definitely worth the $39.99 Holiday sales price that I picked it up for.
The only concern is that the microphone isn't as sensitive as the true Google products which means you have to speak up a tad bit louder but other than that it's a very comparable device.
The pro is the embedded digital clock. Although it has the ability to flash the temperature on the display I find myself rarely looking at it when I am asking Google for the temp.
If you can manage to get it on sale, especially for the less than $40 price, don't hesitate to get it.

Is it worth the retail price of $49. Probably. Is it worth the $29 holiday season sale price. Definitely.
My son and I have spent countless hours playing the embedded trivia games that Google assistant allows.
Overall it's great little device---so much that we now have three of them. The Google home effectively turns on the lights, plays our respective Spotify Playlists, entertains us to no end and finds answers to our many asanine world inquiries. What's not to love for $30?

Is the whole chromecast, using a tablet, phone or web browser thing ideal? NO... BUT IT WORKS. I bought this to compliment the Google home mini capabilities on my TV. Right now the features are lacking but nothing at fault of the chromecast itself - - it does what it is supposed to do and with out fail.

Pretty good alternative to the WeMo smart plug. I had issues with it staying connected initially but that turned out being an issue with my Comcast issued router loosing connection on its 2.4 ghz channel. Definitely worth the $15 sale price that it is selling for during the holiday season

I would like to tell you that this is a great case - - - but it's not. it's a finger print magnet like no other. No matter what you do, it looks like it's been smeared with chicken grease and baby oil.
The case itself had some sort of slight rubber coating which makes it easy to grip but the fact that it retains finger oils they you can't wipe off negate any redeeming qualities the case may have.
If you like having a case that makes you phone appear dirtier than it is, this is the one to buy.

I buy these because i am wise enough to not allow my son access to any of my credit card info. Sure he probably spends it all on foolish and asinine in game purchases in his attempts to save the world from opposing domination---but At least when he's reached the card's limit I am not on the hook for any erroneous and accidental charges. I know wars costs but I will not be finding them any further than my initial contribution.

I love this camera for what it is. It is small and convenient. Doesn't take the best pics per as there is no viewfinder but the videos are a joy to look at as they are often shot at very odd perspectives that make them interesting to view.
