My area is prone to thunderstorms and occasional power outages so in an effort to protect my computer and tv, I got a big beefy power strip. Once I had an old tube tv blow due to a power surge so, I tend to be a bit more paranoid.
What I really like about this is the ability to rotate the plugs. I never realized how handy this was until I had it. I was also able to make a Charging Station with the USB ports so no more scattering around the house with phones, camera, watch, and tablet!
My only problem is that it is so big. To counter that it can easily be mounted in place on the side of my desk allowing easy access and keeping it out of the way.
I’ve had this in for about a week and while we have had thunderstorms almost every day, we have not had any type of outage so I can’t say anything to it’s purpose but I do feel more at ease with it protecting my important data and my expensive TV.
I highly recommend this for any home or office. As a peace of mind item it is priceless!

Finally a smart thermostat for my sisters house!!! Her system is baseboard heating and while she has always been fine with the wall turning thermostat, this has brought her to 2023!!!
It is really aesthetically pleasing, matching with her décor which was one of her big concerns. The app was easy to set up and easy to use.
While her husband is a master electrician, he did have some difficulty with the installation. We ended up installing it and uninstalling it a couple of times- unsure why it did not install the first two times, but it finally did. I am sure that was an error on our part. The instructions were unclear and not robust as so many systems are different. as reported by my brother-in-law. Once hooked up the the app it ran perfect. One week later and she is now loving the set up. She appreciates its ability to set up a schedule (unlike mine that thinks it is setting itself up through AI to find a pattern and set its self up).
I took 1 star off because of the issues with the install, but its is a great product!!!

Great little fridge!! I was looking for an office fridge, something small and not tacky looking. Light weight and quiet. And I found it!
This weighs a whopping 37lbs which means my 57 year old self had no problem carrying it. Once set up it looks sleek and non-intrusive. And quiet. The adjustable shelves allow instant adjustments for any situation- daily lunch or office party!
The setting was preset to was not cold enough so I was able to change it without having to guess -dial is up front and easy to read. The only complaint I have is that there is no freezer section. Not sure if I need it for my office, but if I ever bring it home...
There is not really much to say about a fridge- its nice, clean lines, light weight, and very handy to have. Recommended for any use in any place.
The Insignia brand has been good for me since I have been using it for years. This is my first fridge however, and the reviews have been positive so far. Being Best Buys store brand, it has my trust.

I got the fan and it snapped together nicely meaning it is pretty much plastic. And that also means it is easy to take apart and clean- should be done at least once a year. Anyway, Its a good size fan and gives a good breeze with three speeds (Not that much difference however), a tilting head and the option to oscillate. It is fairly quiet so it would be good for sleeping but it does make noise.
This fan is perfect to place on a table and point to the ceiling on the oscillation and let it it cool the entire room as the breeze scatters.
The biggest con of this fan, and in 2023 it IS a con...There is NO REMOTE CONTROL. Not sure why any decent fan would be without one but I took one star off for it.
As summer approaches, a good fan can make all the difference. If you are not bothered by the lack of a remote control, then I suggest this fan. Since I got this for my bedroom and then I saw there is no remote, I took another one we had with a remote to use in my room.
I like this fan but the lack of remote is a deal breaker

Excellent tool for anyone for muscle tension

At first I thought this little thing would not be useful...but then I used it. I don't always sleep the best and when my back knots up because of this, and its not easy to find someone to try to rub the knot out. With this, you don't have to!!! I put mine up in the shower and worked the knot out in minutes! Its great to apply pressure to what you can handle and what works best for you. If my planter fasciitis acts up, I bet this will take care of it fast!!! Attach to the floor and roll your arch over it to break up the tightness on the arch. The ball is small enough to use to work the hands as well.
I have only been using for a few days so I cannot attest to how long it will last or how durable it is, but it does look sturdy. The suction to the wall feels strong but the instructions say not to keep it in one place for too long. Simply flip the tab and poof...suction is released!
I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a way to loosen up tight muscles or just stretch.

An IPL used in a medical office is 40 Jules, and this one is only 20 Jules...so I really had reservations about its strength. I worked in a vision clinic that uses IPL as part of dry eye treatment- an accidental discovery as part of skin treatments. I have used it on my face before as part of a dry eye treatment- bright light, little snap on the face. I went in at least knowing what to expect since the instructions didn't really say that. Yes, it is a very bright flash and it does feel like a rubber band snap.
I decided to start small so I did my under arms. Well, just one. So I shaved both and used it on my right under arm for comparison. After 4 weeks I really noticed a difference!!! 1 week after 6 weeks...and my right underarm is still smooth and the left is, well, growing hair as normal!!! Now on to the next one...and my legs.
I really wish they would have had this when I was young!!! I would recommend this as a great gift for anyone that wants permanent hair removal.

My old laptop has been with me for over 5 years and I bought it used. I was very used to it and knew everything about it. However, I LOVE this new thing!!! The color is beautiful, it weights nothing, and it is very slim.
I had great fear getting this as the last time I got a computer it took me and my IT friend a long time to get things set up. This took no time at all and I did it all by myself in minutes!!
I love the touch screen however it is very touchy. Learning curve!!! The touch screen sometimes has a mind of its own. Easy to fix but still a pain in the rump.
I have watched a couple of movies on this and it is amazing!!! Just like my big TV at home, but I can carry it anywhere.
Thing I do NOT like...the charger. I thought we were going back to universal charger?!? This charger looks so dainty and I am sure easy to break or bend. It is NOT a good design to the point I took one full star off. For the cost of this it is aggravating they would do this but not surprising.

I got this to help me with my new exercise and diet. I read up on it and was very interested to measure my sleep vs what I need for my activity.
So, I get the...thing... and it takes me 15 minutes to figure out how to clasp it on my wrist. It suggested the non-dominant hand so I moved my apple watch to my right hand. Once I got it on, I kept it on for a full month! I showered with it- no problem and the band never got stinky. I LOVED that I could charge it while wearing it- that is sooo convenient. The instructions said to keep it 1" above the bone on your outer wrist. Um...that is so unnatural that it was really bothering me. Luckily it is light and not cumbersome so it was not that bad.
So I get the app on my phone. Interesting. It tells me I need to go to bed by 10:45pm so I can wake up at 9am. Considering I have to be to work by 7:30am, I set my alarm for 5am and it still told me to wake up at 9. I tried everything to change it and magically after 2 weeks it told me to go to bed by 8pm. It would tell me every night that I need to go to bed. And it would tell me in the morning that I did not get enough sleep. The alarm is nice- a gentle vibration on my wrist that lasted for about 30 second. I actually slept through it a couple of times when the dog didn't wake up first. So, the alarm goes off and I start getting notifications. Constant notifications. My sleep graph is ready to look at. My exercise graph is ready to look at. I need to go to bed at 8 pm to get enough sleep. My exercise graph is ready to look at again. My recovery was not enough for my strain. My strain is less they yesterday. Annoying and I could not figure out how to turn only some of them off.
Reading everything on my app was omg...seriously too much. It made no sense to me. I am not a super athlete that may want to monitor this- I am just a person that thought it might guide me to get more active by showing me where I was lacking.
The last two weeks I turned on my Apple watch sleep monitor to compare. Sorry Whoop but the Apple is much easier to read and understand. The exercise I was getting was also showing up for different calorie amounts between the Apple and the Whoop in My Fitness Pal app as well. Whoop was almost double the amount of calories and when trying to lose weight, I would rather record a lower amount and be under my intake for the day.
Anyway, for the average person...I say this is a NO.

Got the machine and I’ll admit the instructions were more about what you can make then how to make it. When I finally figured it out, I realized that the only thing I had was canned peaches. I followed the freezing instructions and 24 hours later I set it up. I’ll tell you up front…I HATE sorbet. It’s like chewing on ice with a watery flavor. So I went into this with a huge doubt. I got it set up on the counter, loaded the frozen container of peaches and juice and turned it on. I thought a plane crashed into my house. The sound was unbearable! I immediately shut it down, got my bearings back and moved it to the garage. Turned it on and 3 minutes later it shut off. Thinking I broke it I went and looked…it was done! Back in the kitchen I took the top off poked at it and it had the texture of ice cream. I got out the ice cream scoop and it scooped like ice cream. It was not icy chunky stuff…it was pure creamy deliciousnesses. I ate 1/3 of the container while standing in the kitchen. Finally something cold, creamy, and not loaded with lactose and sugar! WIN!!!! Then I bought some regular yoghurt and did it again but this screeched longer-5 mins I believe- and sure enough…lightly sweetened creamy deliciousness!!! I am in awe of this machine. I took one star because of the extreme loudness. Had there been any warning, well that would have been nice!!

This is my third Ninja coffee machine and I have LOVED all of them! They do trend to be a bit more complicated with each one,
I always follow the instructions the first time I make something so I made the coffee with the measurements with the lowest amount of grounds and HOLY COW...I had hair growing out of the bottom of my feet!!! I highly recommend NOT following those guidelines (1 reason why only 4 stars). I made a regular pot and it is the same amount of grounds as my previous pot. The 'rich' cycle simply made it a bit stronger.
The single cup is great however I used the travel measurement of water and 1 level Tbsp of grounds and I ended up with about 12 oz of coffee- not filling my cup but a good tasting cup of coffee.
The frother on these machines is GREAT!!! I heat my milk in the microwave, add some flavor syrup and froth away! I am not a fan of foam and with this make perfect light and airy flavored milk to add giving the barista taste without the cost.
The other reason for the only 4 star- I know what will break on this machine first- the pressure seal on the grounds lid. Yes, I may be blaming the past on this new machine but it is obviously a weak spot with these coffee makers and I saw nothing saying this has been addressed.
I am not impressed with the pod coffee. Honestly the capsules are just too expensive! I was able to find a clearance pack and made one and it is strong but the frothed milk helped.
Yes, I would recommend this because it can make so many different types that it can please just about anyone.

Can the filter be turn off if I am using the faucet for other than drinking water? Will it still use the filter? Shorten the 6 month life span on the filter?
I think you would have to remove the filter and reattach the hose. Not very convenient if done often.

I purchased this Ninja less than month ago, love the features, but not yet excited about the taste. Getting a lot of thick sediment on the bottom of the cup immediately when poured and moments after it's been brewed. PLEASE help...I love my coffee!
