Bracket racket

Bought a new Samsung 60" smart TV and needed a new bracket for the larger size. If you plan on connecting the cables to the back of your new TV when it's up on your wall, don't buy this one. Once you tilt to proper viewing angle you can not get a man hand between the wall and the TV. The bracket also comes with an array of useless spacers and metric screws which are all too short. If I wasn't in a hurry to complete my installation, it would have gone back. Poorly designed for the price. Had to run to the Depot to get screws and spacers to make it work. Only thing I did like was it hangs on the mount on the wall, and I could slide left and right to center. FYI- you'll need spacers on the back of the TV and on the wall to make it work.

We went to Best Buy for a 55" Samsung flat screen that I saw was on sale. After an hour of convincing that the 60" would look fine on the wall and wasn't too big, and the 5" made a HUGE difference in the size of the text on the screen. We've had the TV for 6 weeks and are thrilled with our purchase. Great picture and the sound was not bad as indicated on other reviews. I did however purchase a Denon sound bar which has several different effects for movies, music, sports, ect... only because of all the reviews on the sound quality and unable to listen in the store. Love it! Both look great on the wall. If you have the space go with the 60" ! FYI - comes with a nice stand for table mount. CON- Samsung doesn't give you a true Universal remote to control the TV and the set top box; you'll get a 6' remote IR cable to place 6" in front of the set top box, which hardly works when you hang the TV on a wall. I re-programed my Dish remote and all work from one remote. SWEET!
