Low cost, high performance/quality

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 is a very strong contender in the realm of sub $100 wireless gaming headsets. It offers very impressive features at a reasonable price point. Here are a few of the basics that I look for in a gaming headset and what this offers:
Design & Comfort: The headset features a sleek, non-gaming design with ear cups that rotate to 90 degrees so you can wear around your neck. The fabric padding on the ear cups and leatherette headband padding is adequate, but not great, but I found that for extended gaming sessions, I had no issues with the fatigue or comfort at all. Although some users with larger heads may find the fit a bit snug, I also did not have any issues wearing them and they are also glasses friendly. The overall build quality feels sturdy, especially considering that these are mostly plastic, but they do feel premium. The buttons are located on the left ear, and they do take some time to get used to where they are and what they do. You have Power, Mode, BT, Switching, and two great feeling volume type dials.
Sound Quality: For gaming audio, the Stealth 600 Gen 3 delivers a satisfying experience. The 50mm drivers provide clear and detailed sound, which is crucial for pinpointing footsteps and other directional cues in games. The Superhuman Hearing mode enhances subtle sounds, giving gamers a competitive edge in multiplayer environments to hear footsteps better. While the bass isn't overpowering, it's good enough for most gaming scenarios. You can take more control over everything when you install the Swarm II software. I used the PC version and did the firmware update first, then I was able to customize the EQ settings, Noise Gate, monitor settings, create different sound profiles (that link to the Mode button and are downloaded directly to the headset for portability), Microphone gain, power features, and a ton of other settings. Note, there is also a Swarm II app for your phone, that you can use as well, but I didn’t test it out that much, but you have that option it seems.
Mic Quality: The flip microphone is a standout feature that is one of my favorite Turtle Beach headphone features. The microphone offers clear voice capture without significant background noise, and you can adjust it to your liking using the Noise Gate setting in the Swarm II software. You can easily flip this microphone up to mute it and pull it back down to unmute it, also it tilts towards your mouth to help pick up your voice even better.
Wireless Connectivity: Another great selling point is its wireless connectivity via a USB dongle, which provides a reliable connection with minimal latency and connection is very fast using a 2.4GHZ connection. It’s compatible with PC, PlayStation consoles, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile phones (via BT) and thus making this very attractive to those with multiple devices that you can make use of this headset. The headset also boasts a decent wireless range, I tested about 50 or so feet away and that was downstairs out in the garage thus allowing freedom of movement within a small house without losing connection or having clipping noises.
Battery Life: Battery life is fantastic so far. They are rated for 80 hours of battery life, and I have been using them for about 20 or so hours and the battery reading on my phone via BT reports 60% left. My initial charge only took about an hour or so, but I can’t speak to how long it takes to charge back up from zero just yet.
Software & Customization: The Turtle Beach Swarm II app allows for firmware updates and some customization of audio settings. While it may not be as extensive as some of the other more expensive headset software apps out there, it does a great job of letting me customize the features that I am most concerned about.
Overall Impression: The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Gen 3 is a near perfect option for budget-conscious gamers looking for a wireless headset with good sound quality, plethora of features, comfort, and low-key styling. It excels in providing clear in-game audio and reliable voice chat, which is essential for both those competitive gaming sessions. While it may lack the premium materials and features of higher-end models, its performance more than makes up for that. If you’re on a budget or just don’t want to spend and arm and a leg, this headset is worth considering.

Fast machine, great graphics, desktop replacement
on May 7, 2024

The 2024 Acer Predator Helios 18, equipped with the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card with 16GB of video RAM, Intel i9 14th Gen (14900HX), 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, and a blazing-fast mini LED 1000 nits 250Hz display, is a true powerhouse that takes gaming to new heights. This laptop is designed for serious gamers and those that want to have the fastest machine without paying more than they have to.
The addition of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card ensures that this laptop can handle the most taxing games and applications without breaking much of a sweat. Whether you're playing Call of Duty, The Finals, or exploring virtual worlds in Fallout 76, the RTX 4090 delivers stunning graphics and smooth gameplay, and I am blown away. I no longer have to compromise on quality to get a good frame rate, on Call of Duty DMZ with the graphics on Ultra, I was easily pulling 95 FPS without a hitch and up to 120 FPS and zero lag. Wi-Fi 7 is supported with this laptop, but I only have Wi-Fi 6 at home, and I was not able to test out the speed, still I was pulling over 500 MB speeds from my 500 MB fiber connection.
The NVidia G-Sync 18-inch display of the Predator Helios 18 is a wonderful to look at. With a WQXGA (2560 x 1600) resolution and a 250Hz refresh rate, the display offers incredibly sharp visuals and buttery-smooth gameplay. The high refresh rate ensures that every frame is displayed with precision, making fast-paced games look incredibly fluid and responsive.
In terms of design, the Predator Helios 18 is my first Acer gaming laptop and has a sleek and aggressive look that is sure to appeal to gamers. The “infinity’ lip on the back has a cool RGB affect that is not over the top, and the remaining RGB effects are not crazy but tasteful in my opinion. The laptop is built with high-quality materials that feel premium and durable, and the addition of customizable Magkey 3.0 keycaps for the WASD keys is great. You are given two additional sets in the box with a tool to swap them out. The MagClick keys simulate mechanical keys and the MagSpeed glow a bit brighter than the rest of the keys to really stand out. I personally like using a full mechanical keyboard, but the MagClick keys provide the best experience for me when I am using the keyboard on trips. Weight will be a big limiting factor for this laptop though, it is heavy and add the 330-Watt power supply and it’s not back pack friendly at all (nearly 8 lbs total), but that is the small price to pay for this power and I don’t mind it at all, I think of this as desktop replacement that you can travel with if you need to. The near full-sized keyboard boasts at 10-key on the right and a huge track pad. Typing on this is fantastic and to me it just feels right, everything is right where I would expect it to be and the track pad, is easy to use and very responsive and smooth.
Performance-wise, the Predator Helios 18 is unmatched. The combination of the powerful RTX 4090 graphics card, high-end processor, and ample RAM ensures that you can run even the most demanding games and applications without any lag or stutter. The laptop also features advanced cooling technology to keep temperatures in check during intense gaming sessions and although the fans will get loud while in turbo mode or during taxing gaming sessions, the laptop itself stays cool to the touch. I have had laptops where the keyboard hits 120 degrees while you are playing, and you simply can’t play with a system like that.
All this good stuff, but there are some not so good about this laptop. For one, the battery life is pretty terrible. I found that mine will discharge (on the quiet setting) at a rate of 1% just about every minute. This means that you will be lucky to get 2 hours and that was not even playing any games. I did have the screen brightness all the way up and the RGB lighting on at the time. Another downside is the speakers are not good out of the box. I didn’t play around with any software to see if I could improve them, but from the factory, they are not good.
Overall, the new Acer Predator Helios 18 is a top-of-the-line gaming laptop that offers fantastic performance, stunning visuals, and a sleek design. If you're looking for the ultimate gaming experience in a laptop form factor, the Predator Helios 18 with this set up is the one to beat!

Perfect sound and clarity in my ears
on April 22, 2024

The Samsung HW-Q850D is a premium powerful soundbar that delivers a truly immersive audio experience, especially for those who have a newer Samsung TV and provides extra immersion (Q-Symphony) and dynamic sound. I own an LG TV from 2018, so I was not able to take advantage of those features, but with that being said, I am truly impressed with this system. Featuring wireless Dolby Atmos technologies, this soundbar creates a three-dimensional soundstage that brings movies, music, and games to life all without cables running across your room.
One of my favorite features of the HW-Q850D is its impressive audio performance. With 7.1.2 channels and a total power output of 480 watts, this soundbar delivers clear, detailed sound with deep, impactful bass. Whether you're watching a movie, gaming, or listening to music, the HW-Q850T provides an immersive listening experience that truly enhances the overall entertainment experience and the Game Mode Pro really make my gaming sessions pop in the audio department.
Another highlight of the HW-Q850T is its design. The soundbar itself is sleek and modern, with a minimalist design that will add a touch of class to your living room. The wireless subwoofer is also easy to place in an out of the way spot in your room, and the rear wireless speakers are connected to wires but only to a box that connects wirelessly to the soundbar rounding out the system.
In terms of connectivity, the HW-Q850T has you covered. It features Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to wirelessly stream music from your smartphone or tablet. It also has HDMI input and output ports, as well as an optical input, giving you plenty of options for connecting your audio sources and also works with Google, Alexa and Bixby.
Overall, the Samsung Q-symphony HW-850D is a premium soundbar that delivers exceptional audio performance and seamless integration with Samsung QLED TVs, but not leaving behind other brands as well. I really look forward to watching movies and shows more than ever now and whether you're a movie buff, a gamer, or a music lover, this soundbar will take your home entertainment experience to the next level and you can’t go wrong with a system such as this.

Near perfect laptop
on April 4, 2024
Posted by: jago
There are so many features packed into this laptop that in the short few days that I have been using it, I have only touched a few of them and would not have enough time to fully test everything and give my honest opinion, but I will touch on the things that matter most to me.
Design and Build Quality: The Asus Q533M features a sleek and modern metal design, with a slim profile and a brushed aluminum Earl Grey finish that gives it a premium look and feel. Asus claims it is tough and fingerprint resistant, but mine manages to collect fingerprints easily, although not as bad as I have seen with other laptops. The build quality is excellent, with the laptop feeling solid and well-made. The hinge mechanism is smooth and sturdy, allowing you to easily open and close the lid with one hand which is one of my very favorite features of laptops.
Display: The laptop comes with a 16:9 FHD (1920x1080) OLED HDR 15.6-inch display that offers vibrant colors and sharp images and is Dolby Vision certified and PANTONE validated for accurate color rendering and looks fantastic and to top it off, is made with Gorilla Glass for protection. Unfortunately, the glare is strong on this one and the 60 Hz refresh rate is a bit of a letdown too, but the 0.2 ms response time is a plus.
Performance: The Asus Q533M is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor and 16GB of upgradable DDR5 RAM, providing plenty of power for multitasking and running demanding applications. Whether you're editing photos, streaming videos, or working on a presentation, this laptop can handle it all with ease. The laptop also comes with a dedicated 95W NVIDIA RTX 3050 8GB graphics card, which is great for light gaming and really flexes its muscles with its raytracing DLSS AI image generation. The NVIDIA studio drivers will be updated regularly as well.
Storage: For storage, the Asus Q533M comes with a 1TB NVMe drive providing fast boot times and snappy performance. This 1TB drive offers plenty of space for storing your files, photos, and videos and the option to install a second NVMe drive is an option as well if you need more internal storage space.
Connectivity: is included in this package and In terms of connectivity, this laptop has you covered with a variety of ports, including USB 3.2 Type-C with power delivery and DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1 output, and a 40 Gbps Thunderbolt 4.0, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, RJ45 Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack and a full size SD card slot. The laptop also features built-in Bluetooth and WiFi 6E (80211ax), allowing you to easily connect to wireless devices and networks.
Keyboard and Touchpad: The laptop features a nearly full-size backlit keyboard with a 10-key number pad on the right, that is comfortable to type on, with good key travel spacing and quiet to use. There are some dedicated emoji (F8), Microphone (F9) and AI noise cancelling (F10) buttons that some users may find helpful, although I didn’t use them much. The touchpad is also responsive and supports multi-touch gestures and has natural feedback, making it very easy to use for your everyday tasks.
Battery Life: The battery life of the Asus Q533M is decent and lasting, for me, around 6-8 hours on a single charge, depending on usage but advertised with 10 hours by Asus. While not the best in its class, it should be enough for most users to get through a full day of work or school, however if you decide to game on it, cut that time to about half.
Overall, the Asus Q533M is a fantastic laptop that offers a great combination of performance, design, and features. Whether you're a student, professional, or casual user, this laptop has something to offer for everyone and Asus does have some of the very best laptop packaging that I have seen.

Easy and quick set up
on March 19, 2024

The Logitech Casa Pop-Up Desk Work From Home Kit is a compact and convenient solution for remote work setups. The kit includes a Logitech wireless keyboard , a trackpad, storage and laptop stand all in a nice compact carrying case that is the size of a book. Removing the stored trackpad and keyboard just takes a simple push on the bottom and the top will swivel up to pull it out. The keyboard is small and compact, but it is easy to type on. The ability to sync to up to three different devices is a big win for this set up and it is easy to switch between the three devices with the labeled keyboard buttons or the trackpad buttons. The keyboard does not have any backlight and I feel that is a big miss for this set up. The trackpad is responsive and a really nice size. It took me some time to get used to it, but the more I do, the more I like it.
The keyboard and mouse combo offer reliable wireless connectivity and should have a very long battery life. The laptop stand is sturdy and adjustable, providing ergonomic benefits by raising the laptop to eye level, reducing neck strain.
The Casa Pop-Up Desk is a portable and lightweight desk that can be easily assembled and disassembled, making it ideal for small spaces or temporary workstations. It offers a stable surface for your laptop and other essentials, enhancing productivity and comfort while working from home. Overall, the Logitech Casa Pop-Up Desk Work From Home Kit is a practical and well-designed solution for remote workers seeking convenience and functionality.

Low cost Monochrome laser printer USB only.
on January 13, 2024
Posted by: jago
The Brother HL-L2400D Black-and-White Laser Printer is a reliable and efficient monochrome printer that is well suited for the home office, personal use, or small business. One of its standout features is its 32-ppm fast-printing speed, producing sharp and clear black-and-white documents at an impressive rate. It’s low cost makes this a great option for those who just want to print in monochrome.
The printer's duplex printing capability is a welcome addition, allowing users to save on paper costs by automatically printing on both sides. The paper handling is solid, with a decent input tray capacity that reduces the need for frequent refills.
Setup is relatively straightforward, and the compact design makes it easy to fit into various office setups. The printer's durability and consistent performance make it a cost-effective choice for those primarily needing black-and-white prints without the extra frills of color printing.
While it may lack some advanced features found in higher-end models (no Wi-Fi or networking), USB is the only way to connect to the printer, the Brother HL-L2400D excels in delivering a straightforward and reliable printing experience, making it a solid choice for users seeking a no-nonsense monochrome laser printer without the need for color or networking. The consumables consist of: TN 830 Toner for 1200 pages, TN 830XL Toner for 3000 pages and DR830 Drum kit for 15000 pages. Not sure on the prices of them but from the previous generation the regular toner was around $41 and the XL $81, the drum kit replacement seems to be around $27.

Beautifully sounding & great fitment/battery life
on December 7, 2023
Posted by: jago
If you are looking for some of the best sounding earbuds on the market today, then be sure to check out the Denon PerL Pro True Wireless earbuds and take the time to fully customize them to your unique hearing profile and they will blow you away. Opening up the box you have a wide array of fitment options that not only include silicon and foam ear tips, a couple of wing attachments, a short USB A to C charging cable, the earbuds, and the charging case with Qi charging ability. Each earbud is very light, and the case is small and light as well. The earbuds fit snugly inside, and magnets help guide them to their charging locations. The case also has three lights to indicate the power status of each earbud and the case itself. I was able to test with phone calls and both ends are met with superior sound and the other person on the phone was impressed with how I sounded. Battery life has been fantastic as well, they are rated for 8 hours and 24 hours with the case providing additional juice. I found that my earbuds were very close to these numbers. During my initial testing, I did a lot of trial and error to find my perfect combo of ear tips and wing attachments, and it is nice that a good variety is included with these. These fit snug and comfortable in my ear and after you settle on the perfect fitment, they don’t feel like they are going to fall out of your ears, and I never felt fatigue with having them in my ears. Connecting to my phone was easy and I was also able to connect to my PC at the same time, so they support muti-point connections which is another big plus for these. Switching between music on my Pc and a phone call was simple and seamless.
Tap control controls are available and customizable via the Denon app. Single, double, triple and a double tap and hold for each side. You can set any of these up with how you want them such as a single tap on the right for volume up, double tap on the left for prev track, etc. When you first launch the app, it walks you through personalizing the earbuds for how your ears are and how you actually hear things. After a few minutes, it will generate a series of tones (using adaptive acoustic technology) and configure things for you. I recommend doing this a few times and create a few different profiles to try things out. It’s a neat process and it seems to really make it sound better for your ears. I have had quite a few sets of earbuds over the years and these are by far the best sounding, best fitting, and best app that I have used.

Loud and powerful
on November 29, 2023
Posted by: jago
This is only my second robot from iRobot, the first was a Braava mopping only model that is many years old. I do have a few robots from other manufacturers, and they work great as does this J5+ combo unit. Overall, there are some good and bad with this little guy. First off, the navigation is a new type for me and it did take me some time to get used to how it works and to trust that the camera navigation will in fact avoid “some” obstacles. I don’t know if I would fully trust it not to avoid a dog mess, although it does a pretty good job at avoiding shoes or other small toys that are left on the ground. It has been able to suck up the occasional sock that was left behind though. This robot is supposed to get smarter over time and I am afraid the week that I have had it, I was not able to make it smarter. Perhaps over time that will change and I hope it does. In the app, you will get reports from the robot, and it will show you a picture of something it encountered, and you can teach it if that item is an obstacle to avoid in the future, a temporary obstacle, or to ignore it. I submitted my findings to the cloud to help with the overall avoidance technology that iRobot has built into these things. The first mapping session requires you to pick up as many obstacles as possible for the best results and I found that it takes a much longer time to map than the Lidar model robots that I have. Also, this first mapping run, the robot will bump into literally everything and to my dismay, the entire front of the robot was scratched up, I do wish it has rubber protection here, but its just a semi hard plastic that scratches easily. Even after mapping it seems to bump into everything. It does manage to navigate a kitchen table and chair legs pretty good, but, again, not without bumping into every leg multiple times. Vacuuming performance has been great, and it has great suction and the dual rubber rollers have not clogged up with hair, the spinning three-pronged brush is where the hair accumulates. Mopping function works well and it just wets the mop pad and goes back and forth. It has been pretty good at light mopping duties, but the tiny mop pad seems to be made for small areas only. Cleaning the pad is easy with soap and water and attaching the pad is super easy with the plastic clip that is stitched on the pad and clips on the bottom of the combo bin. One of the first things I did notice on this was how loud it is. This is by far the loudest vacuum that I have owned, and the self-emptying bin is again, the loudest. That goes with the strongest suction too I believe, so just keep that in mind if you are in the market for one of these. Don’t expect to be able to watch TV while this is moving at all. My other units, I am able to put them in quite mode and I can watch TV. The iRobot app has been working great and in the week that I have had it, the robot was not found just once, and I had to reboot it. Setting up the initial map with rooms, no go zones, no mopping zones, and high traffic zones was easy to do. The cleaning report will show you the room that robot cleaned, and it will be colored in with the areas it covered, also in these reports is where you will find the obstacles the camera finds (cube icon on map) with a way to take action on what it found. There are a few features on the app that don’t seem to be activated at this time, for example, the Product Health option just keeps saying to that it will be available shortly, so perhaps it is a feature that has yet to be rolled out. I do like this loud and powerful vacuum and if you can find it on sale, then that is the best time to pick it up in my opinion.

Set up can be finicky, but great otherwise

The Arlo Essential 4 camera 2k set is a great way to provide video security in your house for not a lot of money. The 2K video is very clear and provides 130-degree Field of view and has an integrated spotlight and color night vision. The spotlight is fairly bright and seems to assist in the color night vision. Battery life in the essential cameras have been pretty good, but if you have a hard-to-reach place to install one, I would suggest either the XL model for longer life, or getting a Solar panel to charge it. Mine have been installed for about 2 weeks now and the battery is down about 20 percent. I expect to get about 3 months max out of the battery at this point. My Alro Ultra camera (which is at my front door and gets the most activity) lasts about 6 months easily. I was not happy with the mounting options that come in this box, and I had to get some articulating mounts. The ones in the box are only designed for these cameras and they only provide a level install. You cannot angle the camera at all with these mounts. Another feature that these cameras have is a siren and the ability to two-way talk to someone on the other side. The volume of each of these leaves something to be desired and they are basically useless in my opinion. Installation is where I really hate these things though. I am not sure if it really is the fault of the app or my Orbi wi-fi home mesh network. These require a 2.4GHz network and I have some dedicated for my IoT devices such as this. For some reason the Arlo cameras are not very consistent with the set up. The first camera usually works very smoothly and connects w/o any issues. The second camera I tried right after, would not connect no matter what I did. I restarted my phone, reset the Arlo App, rebooted my routers, nothing. I then took it to my office and set it up there w/o any issues. I brought the camera home again and it set up just fine on my network after that. However, once they are connected, they are very reliable and good to go. So, your results may vary since your home set up will always be different. Overall, I really like having these cameras and I do subscribe to the Arlo Secure Multi-Camera plan. This covers all the cameras that I have 11 of them overall. You do get a free 30-day trial that comes with these cameras and once I added these cameras, I automatically got a free month. This allows to have one camera set up for package detection (front door) and all of the cameras can detect Vehicle, person, or animal. I find this detection to be accurate for the most part and you are also given a 30-day cloud storage option as well. Arlo still has the free plan which includes the 7 days of storage, but no smart detection.

Really want to love this but...

The Nextbase iQ 1K Smart Dash camera is a device I really want to love, but I cannot at this point in time. First off, it’s a very neat and modern looking dash camera and has many features that would make you jump at the chance to take advantage of them. However, the best features of the camera are not yet available and just say “coming soon” in the app. It’s very hard to recommend someone to spend this much money on a product that is not yet fully operational with the ‘hopes’ of the main features being implemented after purchase. I don’t have any doubts that at least some of the features will be rolled out, but I can’t guarantee that they will. Things I do love, are the 4G connectivity that I can view the live feed when I feel like it, pending of course the 4G connection has a signal. This will depend on where you live. I am not sure if there was a coverage map anywhere, but I think it uses AT&T’s network since my phone seems to not connect in some of the same areas. Establishing the initial connection to the camera via 4G can be slow at times as well and so fare I have only had a few times where I could not connect at all. Getting live push notifications to your phone when there is movement around your car is pretty neat as well. You can also sound a little alarm that will emit from the speaker, but it won’t scare anyone away and it is not that loud. I can barely hear it outside my 2019 Ridgeline. Video clarity on the 1080p front camera is great and I have no issues with that although the 140-degree angle is not as good as some other camera’s out there, and the interior camera works well also with good clarity. Mounting the camera was a bit of a hassle for me, there is no screen to screen to view what the camera sees as you mount the camera, so you have to use a level or eyeball it. It helps to have another person assisting you with getting it mounted straight. Also, the camera lens is not adjustable, the entire assembly will only move forward and back on the mount and there is no side or rotation adjustment available. The camera can be removed by sliding up on the mount and that will allow you to work on the camera if you need to or if you wanted to add the rear camera (not included, may not be available yet either as of the time of this review). Removing the power plug requires you to use a pry tool to pull it up, I used the included wire tucking tool and that allowed me to pry it up to remove it. Speaking of included items, Nextbase includes just about every power option that you could need. I have the OBD power plug in my truck so I used that, but you can use a fuse plug and other options for pre-1996 cars. You may not get the “always on” feature to connect to your camera (live view, notifications, etc.) if the fuse does not provide power all the time though.
The app (ver 1.5.1) needs a lot of work still. The default time on the app is set three hours ahead of me when I set it for Los Angeles time. The time on each video event is correct, so it is just the app that won’t update. Guardian mode and Roadwatch A.I. are still coming soon. I was given a trial period to test things out and I hope those features are released before my trial is up. I don’t see myself paying $20 a month for the service to take advantage of those unless they are fully functional. The $9.99 a month plan gives you many of the features except the ability to look back at live view history, won’t automate the Incident back up, emergency SOS, no extended warranty, but everything else is included. If you pay yearly, you can get a 20% discount. I also noticed that the preview pictures of the footage is a little slow to show up so you are stuck with a grayed out box where a preview of the image should be. I did have the opportunity to contact customer service for these issues, they were kind, but not very helpful and were just able to tell me that those features missing are in the works and the other issues will be worked on by the developers. I really want to like the Nestbase iQ camera and app, but at this time I cannot recommend anyone purchase this unless they are ok with missing features and bugs

The headband and hinge design have been reinforced for added long-term durability, and soft, glasses-friendly ear cushions provide plush comfort while refined 50mm speakers produce high-quality, immersive sound and are optimized to unleash the power of Sony 3D Audio on PS5~. A user-friendly audio preset button on the headset allows for easy access to customize audio, and gamers can still count on Turtle Beach~s Superhuman Hearing~ for an audio advantage on the battlefield. Finally, connectivity is made easy with the included, mini-USB Transmitter that wirelessly connects from your PlayStation~ console to headset.

How is the mic monitoring? Is it loud enough? The gen 1’s had pretty quiet mic monitoring, did they improve upon that or is it the same?

the mic monitoring seems very sensitive and you can adjust it with a separate volume. You can crank it down to pretty loud.

Power disturbances can cause equipment damage and lessen your electronic devices lifespan.During power disturbances, you also risk losing connection to your critical devices. Ensure you keep connected to what matters the most with APC Back-UPS.

What replacement battery does the UPS take?

the battery is non-user replaceable. I am sure you can crack it open and replace it, but its not like the old units that had a removable cover to replace the battery.

Does this work for Xbox? The older version did

It only works with using the 3.5mm cable, not using the USB dongle, so you won't get the added benefit of your custom sound profiles.

Use the Google Smart Light Starter Kit to control the lights using just your voice. Set up in a snap: just plug in Google Home Mini, screw in the GE C-Life smart light bulb, and download the Google Home app to get started. Then just say "Hey Google" to dim, brighten, turn on and turn off the lights."
