Great controller
on November 6, 2024

The Razer Wolverine V3 Pro Xbox controller has exceeded my expectations! The controller is packaged nicely and the storage case is a nice touch! Its compatible with my Xbox Series X (and S) and also my PC, Although admittedly I didn’t use it that much on my PC, I just tested for compatibility.
One of the first things I noticed was how well it fits in my hands. The build quality is impressive, giving it a premium feel that stands out from other controllers I’ve used. It feels sturdy and durable, which is a big plus for any gamer. There are plenty of buttons and they are customizable! This allows you to map the buttons to suit your play style and preferences. Each button feels premium in its travel and overall feel. I don’t foresee any problems with this holding up to some intense button mashing sessions that I frequently have. The wireless connection has been stable, and I have tested with walking away to my other rooms, which are about 30 feet away and had no issues with connectivity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

inexpensive price, great sound and features
on November 1, 2024

Colorful, lightweight, stylish, and great sounding earbuds that will really impress at this price point. That is what I feel about these earbuds in one sentence. I love the color options; I have the blue ones and I enjoy having a different color than my other pairs of earbuds that I own. These are very inexpensive for what they are, and they certainly don’t feel like they are around $60 at all. They do have some impressive features that you can access using the Sony Sound Connect app such as setting up 360 spatial audio, custom EQ settings, finding lost earbuds, and much more. You don’t need to set up custom EQ settings to get good sound, these sound good right out of the box and they work well and I enjoy the mid to high frequency they produce. Connecting them to multiple devices at the same time also works well and you can seamlessly transition between two devices with the multipoint connection that these offer. Another welcome feature is the ambient sound that and it works pretty good and I have no complaints about this. The physical buttons on each earbud can be set to single, double, triple tap, and also long presses and continuous presses. You can set each up with different customizations to your liking in the app. The fitment of the earbuds is great, and you are provided with S, M, and L size silicon clear tips to select from. These do not have active Noise cancellation, and this helps provide the long life of 11 hours and I found that the outside sound is blocked pretty good without having an active NC feature. The pill shaped case also provides an additional 11 hours of battery life, and a quick 5-minute charge will give you an hour of life to keep the music going. And to add on about the case, its well-built and the hinge feels good. You are not given a USP Type C charging cable, but I have plenty of those lying around so I wasn’t worried, also Qi/wireless charging is not an option on the case. The earbuds also do not have wear detect sensors, but again, at this price point, I really don’t expect features such as that. Overall, these are great earbuds for the money and even offer some features the more expensive models offer.

The PowerDetect NeverTouch Pro robot vacuum and mop system is designed to capture more, reach farther, and need you less (vs. Shark Matrix 2-in-1). Its five powerful cleaning technologies help to target hidden debris, stuck-on stains, edges and to optimize cleaning for every floor type, handling the toughest cleaning challenges. Whether vacuuming or mopping, the PowerDetect robot does the dirty work, so you don't have to. It deep-cleans and mops your floors, while the NeverTouch Pro base means you don~t have to worry about cleanup or maintenance for weeks at a time. After every cleaning run, the robot will return to the base to empty debris, refill the water tank, and wash and dry the mopping pad so it~s always ready for its next clean~ maintenance-free cleaning for up to a month. With NeverStuck Technology, the robot lifts itself over obstacles and across thresholds to avoid getting stuck. When mopping, it keeps the pad above carpets to prevent wet messes and deliver whole-home coverage. While the robot handles your cleaning chores for you, the bagless base with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal captures and traps 99.97% of dust and allergens (down to .3 microns, allergens refers to non-living matter).

The smartest, best Shark Robot yet
on October 17, 2024
Posted by: jago
If you are looking to get one step closer to having your floors always clean without having to do much work yourself, then be sure to check out this Shark PowerDetect Robot. It is advertised to be able to mop your floors for up to 30 days and 60 days for vacuuming with its self-emptying, cleaning, and drying functions. I have been using this nearly every day for about a week and I do believe this claim to be not very accurate based on my estimated usage so far. I have cleaned out the dirty water bucket once already and I am getting close to having to fill up the clean water container, so I would say two weeks is more realistic (depending on your usage of course) My hard wood floors have never been cleaner than they have been this past week. Jarold Jr. is his name, and he is replacing a slightly older model that did not have the PowerDetect feature, nor the self-cleaning ability. The additional ability to clean its own mop pad is an absolute game changer. That was my biggest complaint about the older model was having to clean the mop pad and refill the tank after every use, and if I didn’t clean it right away, it would be harder to clean the mop pad. This solves both of those problems. I just fill up the large water tank, add 12 oz. of the included solution, and off it goes. This little guy is pretty smart as well, it will lift itself up to raise up the mop pad (in mopping mode) if it detects carpet. The previous model I had to set up no-go zones and for most that would work, but I have an area rug that manages to get moved around by my kids all the time, so I was not able to rely on the no-go zones, but this doesn’t need that anymore, it just detects the carpet and lifts up its little rear end. It’s fun to watch. It also does this same thing over my air registers (vents) that are on the floor.
The set-up experience on the SharkClean app does need some work. I have three other shark robots, two of them had maps and one is just a dumb one that I can tell to clean, and it just bounces around randomly. When I added Jarold Jr’s map, I lost the maps to my other units. I had to have them re-explore their areas to get the map back and that was a pain. This will probably be fixed in an update, but that was my experience as of this writing. I do wish the app had a live tracking feature so you can see where your robot is currently. It will, however, give you a report at the end and shows you the areas it cleaned. Otherwise, the app is pretty good overall, and it is pretty easy to use.
The cleaning performance has been great in my opinion. It will not clean up to the edges of your walls though, but it will shift the mop pad about half an inch towards the wall and it does get closer than my other one did. Cleaning up the daily footprints that my kids and dogs make on the floors it handles with ease, any stuck on mess will require a little more effort though but if you use this for maintenance cleans between deep monthly cleaning, then this is perfect. You will find your manual deeper cleanings to be easier overall with this little helper. As far as the PowerDetect feature works, I have no idea, there isn’t much in the way of instructions that are given to you in the box so you will have to look up some of that, as well as what the status lights mean.
In the box is everything you need to get started and also some spare side brushes and a spare antimicrobial mopping pad. Shark keeps making their robots smarter and better with each version and I can honestly say that this version is the best one yet.

Great lower cost option
on October 15, 2024
Posted by: jago
This is a great option, if you're in the market for a keyboard / case, the OEM (aka Apple) styled one is just too much money. First off, the design of this thing, it has a gigantic touchpad, which is very handy, in my opinion. It provides protection for the iPad air, but it does take a little bit of effort to install it into the case. It doesn’t just magnetically snap into place like the OEM model does however, you do have the option to separate the keyboard, so you can carry it around by itself with just a protective case, which is nice option to have. It has cutouts for all the buttons, has a small cutout for the camera and cut out for your apple pencil, if you have one. Connecting to the iPad was seamless. It just works, and the keyboard keys have good travel, the keys are good sized, and they are easy to type on. It also has function keys up on the top row which are nice to have, and the caps lock button has a light which is handy to be able to tell if you have it on. I did notice that there was no escape key like the original one has but I don't think it really matters for this. I don't see a use for it. This will add a little bit of weight, obviously, but only about 13 or 14 oz. more to your iPad, when you have this case on not a deal breaker, and I didn’t find it too cumbersome at all. It also has a back kickstand that you can angle from about 10 degrees to about 60 or so degrees, and that is nice to have for different functions. Whether you're going to do a zoom, call or just watch videos. Overall, for the $120 in savings. I think this Logitech combo touch is a great option to have provides everything you really need. It looks great, in my opinion. Oh, I did notice there are some minimal fingerprints that show up on the case when you hold it, but they're easy to wipe off and it's easy to keep clean overall.

perfect massager that I can't live without
on September 30, 2024
Posted by: jago
This is my second Theragun percussion massager and I really saw a huge benefit from the original one that I had. This updated version is a huge improvement. It now offers 5 different speed levels, three levels of heat, and its much quieter than my original model. I mainly use this on my right shoulder area and the triangle design allows me to easily grip it and hit that area by myself. The added heat has made a big difference, and it does feel really good after a session. The powerful 16mm percussive movement with up to 40 lbs. of force can really help work out knots that you may have. You are given a travel type carrying case that is not a hard backed case, but I think it does provide sufficient protection for this device. It also holds the included attachments (Heated percussive attachment, Dampener, Standard Ball, and wedge). With up to 150 minutes of battery life, this is something that you can easily take with you anywhere you go and it will assist in recovery from a work out or may assist in relieving some chronic pain that you may have as it does with my chronic pain. The device is also very well built and feels very premium. The USB-C charge port makes it simple to charge it with your phone charger so that is one less thing I have to carry around. This model is also compatible with other Theragun attachments. I am looking forward to purchasing the optional attachments to try them out, there is a Cold therapy one, a Vibration, thumb, and micro-point for targeting of different muscle groups. As I am writing this, the App is not updated to include this model so I can’t speak to that but from what they are promising, it will offer guided wellness routines, track usage just to name a couple of things that it will be offered. This is one of the few things that I can truly give a 5 star review for, it simply works great while offering a premium design and build.

Wow, blown away by how cool this is
on September 23, 2024

The Tineco Switch Pet Cordless 7 series floor washer is a near perfect device for my needs. I only have a few gripes about it, but over all it does everything that I am looking for. If you spring for this combo, its about $100 more than the floor washer alone, but you get the benefits of a stick vacuum as well, the unique motor/battery swap system makes this possible and I have never seen this before and I find it very cool and unique. The biggest downside of this is not having a spare battery to play around with as I do with my other Tineco S12 vacuum. A bit of a bummer, but the battery that is built into this S7 Switch system has been long lasting so far and I have been able to clean my entire 1200 sq foot down stairs area with battery left over.
Included in this kit is a stand system to hold everything, 2 total rollers for cleaning, two filters, crevice cleaning tool with brush, charging cable, an LED anti tangle brush for the vacuum, mini vacuum power brush, small cleaning tool, and some cleaning solution. You only need a capful to each clean water tank fill, and it seems to work well, and of course the motor/battery unit.
Using the floor washer takes some getting used to, at least it did for me. I was expecting to have some ‘trigger’ button for the solution to be put down, but in auto mode it does it all by itself. You can manually move it into Max mode or Suction mode by using the mode button. I found that the auto mode was best for nearly all situations, and it worked really well for the everyday messes my kids and dogs make on my hard floors. Don’t expect it to remove some stubborn sticky messes, but not much out there will, except some hard scrubbing. After you are done, you simply empty out the Dirty Water Tank (DWT) and you will notice that any solid objects it picks up are separated by a section of the tank top portion. Then fill up the Clean Water Tank (CWT) and set it on the charger base, cleaning takes about 3 minutes, and it does a really good job. The roller is nearly dry after this, I would say about 90%. I also remove the roller cover and give that a good wipe down since there is some dirt build up on there. This also allows the roller to get fully dry as well if you leave the cover off for a bit. Clean up is a breeze and it is recommended after each use to avoid odor build up.
Using the stick vacuum portion is just ok in my opinion. I feel that the motor head, while is great at keeping hair from getting tangled, just simply moves too much left and right and it too wobbly in that way. I can’t really use it for stairs, but the smaller mini power brush works good on the stairs. I also noticed that the stick vacuum doesn’t seem to have a dirt sensor the same way the floor washer does. Usually Tineco’s will display a blue/red circle on the top of the screen (motor battery) and you can see with a visual how dirty the floor you are cleaning is, so this works great with the floor washer, but when you put it on the stick vacuum, you don’t get the same display, it only shows Auto, Max, and the current battery. You can manually toggle between auto and max with the button on the end. Also, the Tineco powered attachments for the S7 do not work on my S12, they are the same shape, but now there are three pins instead of two. The non powered attachments fit just fine though.
Overall, this will save a lot of time since you can clean your hard floors with just one pass of this and not have to vacuum or sweep before and the self-cleaning at the end is a real game changer, I feel it encourages me to use it more since it’s a lot easier to clean than previous devices that I have had.

Good camera, not the highest quality video
on September 19, 2024
Posted by: jago
I have had many Rexing dash cams, and they have always been very reliable and work great. I have very little issues, and one issue come to mind and that 18-month warranty (with registration) came in very handy and the Rexing support was great and provided me with a replacement. Physically mounting the cameras is easy and they have now included a static clear sticker that you can mount first and then use the 3M tape, this allows you to remove the camera and reattach it with the static film that you peel off starting at an edge. No issues with it falling coming off at all so far. Two of these for both the front and back camera would be a welcome addition. I was able to find more on Amazon though.
However, I am having a bit of a struggle with this smart wiring kit that this model comes with. It may be my car to be honest, I am not sure, but after three days of struggling with it, I gave up and decided to just use the 12V cable instead. My troubles boil down to either I can get the Rexing cam to work with the hardwire kit, and I have to give up some functionality of my car or I just use the 12V instead. It seems the car I am installing this into (2006 Honda Pilot) doesn’t like the fuse connectors that Rexing has supplied here. It won’t pass power back to the device I am trying to tap into it, so I am using the 12V ACC constant fuse, my Rexing works great, but my radio stops working. After much trial and error I did finally get it to work and I found that I had to use my existing fuse and add it to the Rexing harness connector. There are two fuse spots which thru me off guard. Once I did that everything worked normally. Also, the rear camera cable was not long enough for my Pilot, so I had to get a 4 wire extension (6FT) replacement on Amazon.
Putting aside my obvious failings here, the camera quality is great during the day, and it makes it easy to read license plates in the perfect light. The rear camera is only 1080p, but it works ok. At night, it is decent overall, not the best, but passable for video that you may need. The included 32GB microSD card is a welcome addition to get you up and running, but you will want to get a bigger card (one that Rexing recommends of course) if you want the ability to store more days of videos. A 2-minute clip takes up about 320MB at 4K so you can’t store that much on the card. It will overwrite the oldest clips so you can keep the fun going though. The small screen and buttons are difficult to navigate and unless you memorize them you are just hitting buttons to hopefully find the right menu item that you want. I wish Rexing would update their button navigation to a D-pad or some sort that makes more sense. The markings on the camera for the butts are nearly impossible to read. The screen is very small and this whole unit can be tucked away and is not really visible. I do like that it can basically be totally hidden behind my rear-view mirror.
The Rexing connect app allows you to stream a live view of the cameras or you can download clips to you phone if you want to save them. The whole process is a bit cumbersome, once you do the initial set up, you have to turn on the Wi-Fi on the camera (good luck with the menu navigation), then launce the app on your phone, then click connect and you have to connect to the camera Wi-Fi. Once you have it set up, you can quickly download the files or view the footage that you want. I found that it took just about 10-15 seconds to download a 320MB file. The Wi-Fi won’t stay and will eventually turn off so you have to go thru the process again each time. Overall, the entire package is a good one, with the included hardwire kit (your mileage may very), 32GB MicroSD card, front and rear camera (hopefully you don’t need an extension for it), electrostatic window cling, 18-month warranty, and Wi-Fi connection make this a great inexpensive dash cam to help protect yourself in the event of an accident or other event.

Problematic set up, great quality
on August 1, 2024
Posted by: jago
If you have a NextBase iQ camera, 1k, 2k, or 4k, then this is the camera you need to complete your 360 degrees of recording ability. Putting aside the lack of full promised features of the app and camera since it was launched over 6 months ago, this is a good addition to have. This camera offers 2k recording (1440P), allowing for viewing of license plates in ideal conditions. Night and dimly lit conditions, I was not able to make out plates very well, but I also have tinted windows so that may have affected it. All the good features are locked behind the paywall so unless you are prepared to spend $9.99 or $19.99 a month then I would not recommend this to you. The 4G connectivity is nice and handy, but it does come at a cost. Installing the camera is easy, the cable is long and it is pretty thick. I would have preferred a thinner cable, but I was able to make it work. The adhesive that comes with it is strong and keeps the camera in place. You are also given a spare one just in case. Hopefully NextBase will release all of the promised features, but at this point it still may be a way off. They recently released the Guardian mode, which alerts you to speed and location, but the Roadwatch AI is still yet to come. Setting up the rear camera in the app was not an easy experience either, I tried following the directions and it kept failing, but then it eventually worked. Also, it would have been nice if they offered you a free month of service with the purchase of this camera to your already pricey front camera. I do like the looks of the cameras, and they work great, but the subscription model is not for me.

Sturdy and long lasting
on July 24, 2024
Posted by: jago
I have had many Jabra wireless headphones throughout the years and my original pair that I have still work and I continue to use them to this day. These Active 8 Gen 2’s are yet another step forward in Jabra’s wireless ear bud evolution. These aren’t the best they make but they are sturdy and can take a beating. They also sound great and one of the coolest features is the ability to use the case as a headphone connection to either a 3.5mm source or a USB-C source. This comes in very handy when I just need a quick wireless connection w/o a BT connection. I found that it works very well with no detectable latency. Ear fitment with the medium tips fit me perfectly, but there are a small and large tip set also included. The rubberized coating makes these easy to grip and I found that they stayed in my ears well during my run/walks on the treadmill. I did have to adjust once in a while, but at no point did they fell like they were going to fall out. They don’t have touch controls, but they have physical buttons that you have to push, I don’t mine this as it makes it easy to adjust them if needed w/o having to activate a touch sensitive button. Multipoint connection is also a great feature, I have my laptop and my phone connected and I can easily switch between the connections as needed. Using the Jabra Sound+ app is a must if you want to get the most out of these. You can adjust the hear through, spatial sound, EQ settings, firmware upgrades, find my Jabra, and much more. Battery life is rated at 8 hours and 3 extra charges with the case. I have been using them as much as possible this past week and a half and the charge is 100% on the ear buds and the case is down to 70%. One downside is that this case doesn’t provide wireless Qi charging. The 6 microphones that these ear buds have really work well and call quality is great from what I am told, and the active Noise Cancellation reduces the outside noise by about 70-80% I would say. These also have a 1-year warranty on defects or workmanship and a 2-year dust and water resistance warranty. Overall, great sound, durability, long battery life, and the smart charging case make this a very good option and with my past experience with Jabra products, its one that I expect to last me a very long time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great value and features

The JBuds Lux wireless headphones are probably the perfect headphones for those that want to have a lot of features, and not spend an arm and a leg to get them. They are not the best sounding or have the best “aware and ANC” modes, nor do they have the best app to customize them, but they do have a great price and everything it does, is great for this price. These are perfect for my kids to be honest. They are well built, have a great battery life (70+ hours), are foldable and comfortable for them. They were also comfortable for my bigger head as well and the padded headband was good also. JLab gives you a full two-year warranty and 30-day money back guarantee as well. Bluetooth multipoint is probably the very best feature that this has. I have much more expensive headphones that don’t offer this feature, and for those that don’t know what it is, it basically allows you to have the headphones paired to two different devices, think tablet and computer, and then seamlessly connect between the two at the same time. My 7-year-old daughter has had no issues with that. I really like the safe hearing feature in the app, I was able to limit the dB to 85 and turn on the Be Aware settings that allows us to talk to her when she is watching a video, so we don’t have to yell at her. Now if she would just stop ignoring us that would be great, but I can’t blame the headphones for that. Overall, if you are looking for a budget prices full featured wireless headphones, then you cannot go wrong with these.

Navigate your desktop precisely with this Corsair Dark Core gaming mouse. It uses low-latency Bluetooth for syncing with compatible devices, and its 16000 DPI optical sensor provides high accuracy performance during game play. This Corsair Dark Core gaming mouse has a contoured shape and interchangeable textured side grips for a comfortable feel in hand.

Asking the people that bought this mouse, have they fixed the wireless connection issues ??? Any software updates to address the problem ??? Thank you in advance.....

I have been using it for a few days now, I did do a firmware update right away and I haven't noticed any connection issues yet. I have been using BT and 2.4GHz dongle.

Only at Best Buy Defend your home from intruders with this SimpliSafe security system. Its wireless design provides reliable, multilayer protection and avoids interruptions from cut phone lines and power outages, and it connects to an app for remote operation. This SimpliSafe security system is easy to install and customizable to homes of any size for flexible use.

Can more entry sensors or detectors be added to this unit afterwards? Or is the maximum amount four/one?

I am not sure if there is a max number of sensors, but you can add more if you need them. I am just not sure what the number is. But if you are planning on putting them on an area with many windows, they recommend getting a glass breakage sensor and motion sensor to cover those areas.

Will currently installed SimpliSafe sensors, etc. work with this new base unit, or will they all need to be replaced? Thank you.

I believe they need to be replaced with the new sensors. I saw that someone asked this very question on Facebook and simpisafe responded that the new unit only works with the new sensors.

Listen to your playlist in peace with these Sony headphones. They have a 40mm dome driver to deliver the full depth of audio, and the noise cancelling feature minimizes outside disturbances for a better listening experience. These Sony headphones have a battery life of up to 30 hours for extended jam sessions.

What walkman are compatible with these headphones?

only the tape walkman. j/k I think most devices can pair with this. You also get a 3.5mm cable and a 3.5mm jack on the headphones so yes, an old tape walkman will work.

Do these headphones have the same cracking problem that the last version had! I am planning to buy them soon and I want them to last for the price. Thank you.

I haven't noticed any crackling with these, but I have only had mine for about a week.

Perfect portability is assured with this Dell XPS two-in-one laptop. All the data is stored on a 256GB solid-state drive for everyday security, and the 13.3-inch screen produces high-quality images and text for easy use. An Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM keep this Dell XPS two-in-one laptop running smoothly.

is there there an option of dvd?

just look for a usb type C (or type A) dvd drive, but if you mean an internal one, then no, not an option

Hi. I just bought this and the screen continually adjusts the brightness/contrast automatically. I've searched everywhere and did the fixes stated online but with no improvement. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks!

mine does the same thing. I don't have a solution though.

Hello, I bought the my xps 2 days ago. I am really concern about the cooling system because it is way too warm. Compare to my friend MacBook Air, it's Much warmer. Does anybody feel the laptop too warm? Even when It is just on charge Or in light use...

mine gets a little warm, but not too hot. I think its pretty safe and i don't fear it getting too hot that it will burn itself out. However, I haven't had mine running super intensive processes for long periods of time.

Can I add additional ssd on this laptop? Is it expandable?

its a sealed device, and there is no place to install an additional SSD, but you can get a microSD and use that for storage as well. You can probably make windows think its another HD and use it as extended storage.
