NC feature, not great, but sound is great!

The Sony SP700N True Wireless headphones are quickly becoming my favorite headphones that I use a lot. They have a few quirks that I am learning to live with though, but other than that they are pretty great.
Fit: They fit snug in my ears and they do not feel like they want to fall out. Sony includes 4 different size ear gels and two sets of ear ‘holders’ that go into the crevice above your ear canal to help secure the devices. I had to play around with the different combinations until I found the right solution for me.
Sound: They sound really good once you find your perfect fit. The bass is awesome and the treble is clear and I am very happy with the way they sound.
Battery: Not the best on the market. Out of the box I put them in the charging case and when the light turned green, I thought they were done. However, they only lasted about 20 minutes before dying. I have since charged them up as instructed and they seem to last pretty close to 3 hours. Charging case will provide a few charge ups on the go as well, but it takes about an hour or two to charge up in my testing.

App: The Sony connect app is pretty good. It’s the same app that you use for the new line of portable BT speakers that Sony has out now. You can fine tune a lot of settings in there and check battery level, Ambience, and Noise cancelling options and of course and EQ function.
Device Buttons: Each ear bud only has one button that will do different functions. The left ear bud button toggles between Noise Cancellation/ Ambience sound/ OFF. The Right will Play/Pause, answer phone/ activate your phone’s digital assistant.

Cons: I was not able to find a way to use the ear buds to adjust the volume or skip song. I had trouble getting google assistant to do that for me using the Right ear bud button. That is my biggest gripe with these though. Also, NC didn’t seem to have that much effect that I could tell. Also, syncing to my phone via NFC was not working either. I ended up using BT to sync and had no issues.
Verdict: I think there are better headphones out there for around the same price, but these are not too bad and I am overall happy with them and seem to like them more each day.

A decent overall mouse but flawed software...

I really like the look and feel of this mouse. The semi-rubber like texture on top and where your thumb rests feels good and snug in your hand. All of the 9 buttons feel secure and respond well when you click them. The LED lighting effects are pretty neat as well. You have three options on how to connect this mouse. You can use either the included 2.4 GHz dongle, BlueTooth, or the USB cable that is included. The battery only lasts 24 hours, so if you are gaming alot, I recommend using the USB cable, its actually a really nice cable that is wrapped in woven type material. The sensor that is inside the mouse is super fast and responsive and works on most surfaces. My glass desk was fine for it, but I generally use a mousepad. They have included an additional winged tip for your pinky finger that just attaches via a magnet. Pretty slick. I found the software to be super clunky and not very user friendly. I found that there was a firmware update that I had to do, but even that was a pain. You are supposed to be able to create different profiles for color schemes, dpi settings, button settings ect., but I have not been able to export them to the mouse. There is no clear cut way to do that as far as I can see. Also, the profile settings will not work via BT, only the USB or dongle option. Overall, its a nice mouse and I plan on using it for more than just gaming, but I do love the sniper button to help steady my shot when it counts the most!

Great reception where I live

First of all, if you don't live in an area that you can get reception then this may not work for you. Luckily, they have a website were you can put in your address and see how far the TV station antenna is from you. My farthest one is about 15 miles and I live in an area that is surrounded by small mountains from where the antenna are broadcasting from. I currently have this set up just inside by living room next to the TV in a window. My reception has been pretty good. Bad weather can affect it a bit though, but I haven't seen too much of that...mostly just a few seconds of artifacts on the screen. I am getting about 40 local channels and I am happy about that. This is replacing the Mohu leaf (non-powered) that I have to move to different positions around the window to get certain stations, so I am very happy about getting all of them without having to move anything. I like the design of this and if you were to install it along the roof line of your house it would blend in nicely. I plan on installing this in my attic to protect it from the elements, although it appears that it will hold up pretty well even if installed outside. About my only gripe is that it is difficult to install the coax cable to the back of the antenna, but this allows a clean look from the front of it. Overall, I am very happy with this. It comes with a few different clips and screws for various mounting points. I installed the power adapter inline with the coax and the USB cable to the back of my Tivo Bolt which seems to work out pretty well.

Take the party anywhere with this Sony portable speaker. It's safe to use at the pool or beach thanks to an IP67 rating that allows total water immersion, and flashing lights add mood to the music. This is a great speaker that is very easy to take with you. I have the X31 model as well and I love that a lot and I love this one even MORE. The sound is simply incredible when you turn up the bass using the Sony Music Center app, standard audio isn't that impressive though. I am not sure how Sony makes the bass but it seems like pure magic. Pairing my phone with this was a breeze using the NFC option and I also tried with bluetooth and that was simple as well. You can daisy chain up to 100 of these for even bigger sound, but linking them up is a little cumbersome it seems. I had to try a few times to finally get it to work. Hopefully they will improve the app a little more to walk you through the process more than they do. Once I did get the X41 linked up with the X31, it was great. Sounded even better with both of them going. The lights sync up as well which really adds to the party scene.
I previously had a gripe with an older version of the app when it came to changing the lighting, now it seems that Sony has improved it. You can select the Lighting option and just tap on the scheme you would like to try and it does it right away. You can easily go back and test another one and its a lot more intuitive to use this way.
You can also set up the speaker to respond when you hit it with your hand. It will make different sounds (drum kit, percussion, etc) depending on where you hit it and which sound you assign that area. Pretty cool if you ask me, though not very useful besides just showing it off. I also like that the app will tell you the battery percentage and speaking of battery life, it will easily get you through a long party with all of the lights on and full sound. It's rated to last 24 hours, but if you turn on lights and use all of the features you will see that life go down. This speaker also averaged about 18 hours of playtime before I charged it up again, so yea, battery life is NOT an issue with this model either.

This speaker also lights up and you can adjust the lighting in the app as well. My only gripe is that you have to select the lighting scheme and hit done to go back to see how it looks. It would be nice if you just could select it and preview it somehow without having to go back and select the next one in line. You can also set up the speaker to respond when you hit it with your hand. It will make different sounds (drum kit, percussion, etc) depending on where you hit it and which sound you assign that area. Pretty cool if you ask me, though not very useful besides just showing it off. 4:3 video is so last century....

not very impressed with the video quality of this, but it is VGA 800x600 and the screen is 4:3, like the old Tube TV's. Also, there is only one HDMI input and no audio out jack...so you are stuck with the 2 watt speaker that is built in....which sounds ok, but not that great and if you want to watch a movie it just doesn't cut it. You should probably spend the extra money and get the better models instead of this one if you plan to use it a lot. It is great for kids movies and presentations though. The 3LCD technology is very bright and will display a clear bright picture in a lighted room.

Easy to install and works great

This system was incredibly easy to install. I think it took me longer to unbox it than actually have it up and running....well it was close. Included in the box was the main unit, a keypad, 4 entry sensors, a 3ft yard sign, window stickers, and a motion sensor. You can put the keypad anywhere since it is wireless as well. I put it by my garage door since my wife and I always park in the garage and come thru that way. I plan on adding an additional keypad for our master bedroom. Its nice since it has a panic button on the top of it. I ended up using the double sided sticky tape to mount everything for now. I did have a sensor fall off of the door frame, but my door frames are rounded a bit and are not totally flat. At some point i might just screw them into place. Simplisafe does include additional sticky tape and screws for mounting. This is a nice system since you can attach it to your wi-fi and it also has built in cellular connection for the monitoring service, which is 24/7. The alarm when it goes off is not too loud so don't expect your neighbors to hear it, but it will most likely scare someone away. Also, I have 3 small dogs (under 15 lbs each) and the motion sensor is not set of by them while the system is armed. The great news about this is when you need to add a sensor (leak, freezing, motion, smoke detector, etc) they are very reasonably priced. Motion sensors are (at the time of writing) $15 and motion are $30.

Great non-gaming computer

If you are looking for a gaming rig out of the box, this is not it. But with a few upgrades (Power supply and Video card) then you will be able to play the latest graphic intensive games. Other than that, this computer is pretty darn good. The 16GB Intel Optane memory really speed this thing up. Even though it has a Western Digital Blue 7200 rpm 1TB HD, it reacts like a SSD, especially when the computer boots up. I clocked it at around 15 or so seconds. Applications like word, excel and chrome are just as fast as you would want them to be. I haven't experienced any real slowdowns in anything I have done. My initial setup was a breeze. There was an update to Windows 10, but that completed without a hitch. HP does include a few bloat ware apps, but you can uninstall them if you like. Video out is thru an HDMI only, and I had to purchase a new monitor that supported it. It does have a DVD/CD burner that is mounted vertically under the raised bar on the brushed metal front of the tower. It took me a minute to find it as you have to swing that long piece to the left to access it. The USB ports are on the top and angle backwards, which is strange, but not too bad. I was happy that a USB Type C is also included on the top as is a memory card reader. Also, this has a built in antenna that you can connect via WIFI and also a Bluetooth receiver to connect peripherals that way as well. Another nice feature is you get a wireless keyboard and mouse with it. Both are basic and not too comfortable, but being wireless is a nice feature. I am definitely going to upgrade the power supply and video card to really unleash the power of this beast.

Love these ear buds

I have really fallen in love with these ear buds. They are super comfortable to wear and they sound really good too. Phone conversations are crisp and clear and the other party had no problems hearing me in loud environments. In order for the sound to be its best, I did have to swap out the medium size ear gels with the small gels, but your ears will be different and you just have to try out which works. The directions that come with the ear buds are lacking and they tell you to download the "Jabra app", the only problem with that is there are a bunch of Jabra apps and the one I originally downloaded, did not work properly. Jabra support guided me to the correct app. I had to get the Jabra Sound+ app, and also get the Jabra Service that runs in the background. I am not a big fan of that part, but if you have a modern phone, you probably won't notice a slow down. In the app you can adjust the settings of the ear buds such as pass thru sound (which allows you to hear your surroundings), equalizer, call experience, and voice assistant (alexa or the one your phone has built in). You can also view the battery life and the connection status of each ear bud. The included charging case is very nifty, but it is a bit difficult to open. It will also charge up the ear buds up to three additional times and add that to the rated 5 hour battery life then you can easily use these pretty much all day with a few charging breaks. As I mentioned before, they fit really snug and comfortable and I have received a few complements on them so far. The price is reasonable as well for what you are getting.

Compact over the ear design....

These headphones have a very compact over the ear design and for my head, they simply were not comfortable to wear. My head is average, but these were very snug and I am not able to wear them for very long. I also can't wear them around my neck when they are not being used. The design seems like it will hold up pretty well, but I wouldn't expect these to last for years and years. Battery life was great and I managed to get right around the 18 hours that they advertise. Also, they advertise that they can stay unused for up to 6 months and still hold a charge. They are pretty light weight, but just snug so you know that they are there. Sound wise they were decent, they blocked out outside noise pretty well and have some decent bass. If you install the Plantronics Hub app, you can get a battery status for them as well. That is a nice feature. They come with a cheap cloth carrying case, which does the job. Pairing with my phone was a breeze and also with my laptop, I didn't encounter any problems there. They seem to have good range too, I didn't start to hear the sound break up till around the 30 foot mark. Phone calls were clear and they other party heard me just fine, but my testing conditions were in a relative quite environment, I was not able to test in a noisy location.

you need a tiny star bit to remove it, it will void the warranty if you did a security sticker is installed. IMO, just get the non-heat sink version for your laptop. I was not able to install this in my Asus G15 2021 model due to the heatsink making it too thick.

Elite 85T or Elite 7 Pro? Calls and ANC aren't important. I just need bass heavy sound for music. So which one is bass heavy and better? Is 85T better because of big drivers?
not sure about the 85t, I had the 65t and I feel that the 7 Pro has less bass than those.

Is the Elite 7 Pro "vented" like the AirPod Pro and 85t? I returned the 75t becasue I didn't like the plugged ear feeling.
no, they make a seal that does not let sound in. It requires using the "hear through" so you can easily carry on conversations. Your ears will be plugged.

How does this connect to a laptop? Does it require programming in order to project a show from a cable source on a laptop, or just an HDMI connection?
you just need an HDMI connector and it will use the laptop as the source when you select the right HDMI input, there are two to choose from.

does not heat up that much on the outside. It is warm to the touch but it will not burn you.

does it have an off timer? I don't see one in the picture
Yes, the right dial works as a temp/timer and you just press it to toggle between the two modes.
