This is my first mechanical/gaming keyboard i've ever owned. And let me tell you, the feel while typing on the Black Widow is like no other keyboard I have ever used. It feels as if I'm typing in the clouds! The sound it produces because of the mechanical keys is satisfying. Not to loud either! Which is a great plus.
I love how some keys, not sure if this will make sense, are slightly angled. Making them easier to access and press.
I use my Black Widow Chroma for office and gaming use. One of the reasons I use it in my office is because I just got tired of the boring looks a typical office keyboard has. I wanted something with a little more "umph"!

After owning the Black Widow Chroma for a few weeks now, I have noticed a huge improvement in performance in both the office (typing) and in gaming (quicker response time). I haven't even started with the lights! I honestly didn't expect them to be so powerful. The LED's on the Black Widow Chroma pack a punch compared to the competition. The software to personalize your keyboard is easy to use! Besides, your friends will be slightly jealous.

One of the reason I bought this laptop was because it was on sale, and who can resist a sale!? It runs very smooth with its i5 processor and 6GB of RAM. Another thing I would like to add is, it doesnt heat up as quickly and as much! Highly recommend the purchase if you're looking to it. If you have the extra money to spend, make yourself the favor and buy the HD screen.

Would this laptop handle games well?
Actually, yes. It is a pretty decent laptop for gaming! I myself use it to game here and there. The only thing I will say is, use a mouse. The touchpad isnt as great.
