Bought these for my wife. I myself cannot use earpods/airpods because they don't like my ears and do not stay in, but your ears and earpods are a great match then you'll love the Airpods. Airpods have great functionality and integration for your already existing Apple products. They pair well with your iPhone, iPad, macbook and even your Apple TV (if you have one). Once set up with your existing Apple ID they'll work great across your other stuff.
I might add that the case if very small and not intrusive at all. They store seamlessly in my wife's smallest purse (if such a thing exists)

Unfortunately at church, our A/V system utilizes a VGA set up and with the currently line of macbook pros, your only option is a USB-C adapter to whatever your needs are.
Needless to say, this gets the job done. The first time I used it, the adapter itself needed a firmware update but other than that easy peasy.
I have not used the USB port, so i cannot comment on that.

I really enjoy the ability to cook the steak evenly with my assortment of seasoning. From garlic, to butter, salt and pepper...all creating the very juices that my steaks will be soaking in. It's awesome. I love the evenness in which the Sous Vide cooks the meats and how it melts in your mouth. I've cooked endless amounts of Rib Eye and New York steaks with this bad boy. It is definitely worth the investment.

First and foremost, this TV isn't your top of the line or flagship lineup with all the latest and greatest. This TV isn't what is featured at CES. It's not. This TV isn't going to be the prized possessions of "main TVs" or home theaters. it's not trying to be. This isn't your 300M dressed to look like a Phantom.
This TV is your basic entry into the 4K world of TVs w/o breaking the bank. It's a basic 4K without all the bells and whistles. Now with all of that said, this TV simply gets the job done. Out of the box it's a good TV, but after you spend some time adjusting the settings, it becomes an even better TV.
Netflix looks great (we don't have the 4k package yet). Hulu looks great. Watch ESPN looks great. Even Disney Jr looks good!
If you don't need the latest and greatest with your TV, you should consider this one.

lastly, we had to replace our plasma TV, so getting used to the color and images on the TV took some getting used to, but so far we have no complaints.

I've owned the Apple TV ever since it became the black hockey puck. The latest Apple TV is a must have. The app store makes the Apple TV what it should have been from the beginning.
A few apps we utilize on the APPLE TV are: On Demand Korea and Drama Fever. These two apps alone have made this purchase worth it for our family.
I am unfamiliar with the Roku platform or Amazon Fire. We are in the "apple eco system" and have no regrets with this purchase. in fact, we own two of these Apple TVs

I purchased an open box version of the Apple Smart Keyboard. The price reduction alone was enough for me to purchase this keyboard over the Logitech.
when it comes to the iPad Pro, i'm looking to minimize it's size and weight while allowing it to do the simple tasks my macbook can do. What I'm not trying to do is replicate it's look and feel of my macbook (if that makes sense).
for me the things I appreciate most about this keyboard are it's feel and thinness. Typing on the keyboard feels great. It does have this nylon-y feel but it has great feedback when you press the keys. Also, i love how this keyboard doubles as a smart cover.
If you can find an open-box version, pull the trigger. If there are only brand new versions available, i believe i would still choose this over the logitech b/c I don't like the added bulk and weight the logitech brings even though the lit-keys are a nice touch.

writing this review after having this device for a month.
Upon purchasing the 12.9 pro, I researched for over a month and I originally purchased the 9.7 pro when it launched. Ended up returning the 9.7 to get the 12.9 pro.
Initially, my biggest hesitation about purchasing the 12.9 was it's size. It's new, unfamiliar and makes it awkward when you're looking at it in the store. However, after taking it home and using it, you easily become adjusted. After 1 day of use, the 9.7 form factor seemed...small.
In terms of "who is this for?", anyone who loves using an ipad. Adding a pencil and keyboard allows it be catered for other needs. As a consumption device, this is amazing. As a productivity device, it can get the job done with simple tasks like email, and drafting up documents.
In my opinion, if both the 9.7 pro and 12.9 pro are the same price (you can find it on sale and Best Buy is awesome with price matching), 12.9 is a clear winner.
I use mine along side my 6s Plus.

this is a great tv for what it is.
This isn't your showpiece of a TV. It's not your home theater TV. It's not a smart tv with all the extra bells and whistles.
It's a TV that's great for a bedroom, kids room, office, etc. it has great picture potential that takes some tuning.
Amazing sound? No. Never on a lcd/led TV.
If you approach this TV as your primary set, you'll be disappointed. But if you approach this TV as your other set up you will be very pleased

Explain the entire built in wifi, it makes no sense to me. Do I have to buy a plan for it to have Internet?
The TV utilizes your existing home wi-fi set up. So if you have home internet with wireless connectivity, you just select your home network and enter the password.
