I'm not sure what "beam forming" is, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I can't say for sure, but I'm willing to bet that a comparable unit at half the price would perform just as well. I have a better signal where I didn't have one before, but I don't think my connectivity is improved much at all.

Have a Sony 130 Receiver with 4 speakers wired in the living room. Got a pair of Presonus Ceres C3.5BT 2-Way Powered Speakers with Bluetooth for the kitchen. Bose told me that I would be able to play them simultaneously. True?

if i have the soundtouch 10 do i need the wireless link adapter
No. Any Bose product that has the SoundTouch name is already WiFi enabled, and accessible by the SoundTouch app.
The Wireless Link Adapter is for any other equipment that does not have the SoundTouch name.
