I've bought Fire TV originally for my second TV which is not a smart tv. Shows start playback instantly, voice search is the easiest thing to use. My only complaint is that voice search does not work in 3rd party apps yet.

Lightweight. Easy to hook up to any HDMI ready TV (send both video and audio using a MiniPort to HDMI adapter). Quiet, usually noise free, operation (no spinning hard drive; and fan only engages to cool processor for certain tasks). Small (easily slips into a backpack and does not take up much room). Battery lasts 5-7 hours). Lightning fast startup time!! This thing starts up in less than 15 seconds!!
Full size keyboard. Incredibly responsive track pad (way better two finger scrolling than all other brand laptops I have used -Dell, hp, Toshiba, and IBM/lenovo). Beautiful display (great resolution and easily adjust brightness according to your lighting). Meets expectations!

Great color. Great brightness and contrast. Easily hooked up with DisplayPort cable to computer. No need for HDMI, since it has no built-in speakers. Bezel is 3/4", which is plenty thin for my purposes. Screen goes all the way to the bezel - no space between like some other monitors. Actual screen size being displayed is 27" by my measurement. Outside bezel to outside bezel is about 29". So the description accurately describes the actual screen size.

The new headphones by apple far exceed the older model. The sound has more bass to it. The shape for the ear allows them to stay in and has a much better fit to the ear.
