I was looking for a portable hard drive to back up important files and pictures that were on my desktop computer. This one fit the bill. It is small enough so I can put it in lockbox for added security if I want to and it will hold more stuff than I probably could amass. It was on sale which made it another added bonus. My "tech skills" are about average, so I had a little difficulty with the setup. It wasn't really that hard, it was just that I was over thinking everything. I also liked that I could get it a color other than black. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this Amazon Fire to replace the one I had. My old one need to have the power button replaced and the cost to do that was more than what I paid for the new one. I like that I can take pictures (which I couldn't do with my old one) and it feels lighter. I can read my books, check my email and surf the web. The only negative thing is that I still haven't figure out how to print from it. It was a lot easier from the old one. I'm still exploring all the apps that are preloaded.

I'm not sure what you are asking. I save most of my stuff on the "regular" hard drive. I do save some stuff on the OneDrive because I want to be able to access it from my laptop when I'm in another room or somewhere else. OneDrive is cloud based (I think. I'm a novice when it comes to saving things in the cloud.) Hope this answer helps you.

Purchased WD My Passport. Packaging states among contents is a "Quick Install Guide". Is there an actual written brochure guide or is that included in the setup when the drive is connected to the PC?
It is included in the setup when the drive is connected to the PC. I downloaded the guide to have a physical copy that I can refer to any time.
