Very nice picture and easy to use Roku

I purchased a few of these after spending a considerable amount of time deciding whether or not to upgrade to a 4k smart TV. It did not make sense for me to go that route since our cable provider, Brighthouse, which uses coaxial cable, has a bandwidth cap on the amount of data that coax can handle and does not currently support 4k, only TVs will upscale the signal. So for now 1080p is about as good as it gets unless you plan to stream content at 4k, which for our case isn't what we were after. The Roku menus are easy to learn, even for the elderly as I taught my father how to navigate and watch some streaming channels. I also love how I can show my father a mirror image of my android phone using "connected device" and even plug in a usb flash drive on the left side port to play movies, music, or even slideshow of pictures. Great TV for the price. I bought two.

Great unit, but with two caveats

This unit moves air rapidly across the room and does a great job at removing odors and filtering for dust/mold while zapping airborne pathogens. However, I was a bit disappointed with the timer. The timer has a basic function mode of just leaving it on for 1,2,4...8 hours. It does not have the ability to choose days of the week, a range of hours, etc.. only a simple duration from 1hr up to 8hrs. Furthermore, when the timer shuts the unit down, your previous settings are erased. Even when using it in conjunction with an outlet timer, which allows you to set days and hours of the week, the unit simply powers off and back on, but you must manually turn the UV light on and set the fan speed each time and does not retain settings in-between powering off/ back on. I wish this unit had some sort of settings memory and more features to the timer that allowed days of the week and a range of hours to choose from. Regardless of those two caveats, I do recommend this unit as it is fairly priced for what you get and moves air sufficiently and quietly.

Best bang for the buck

I was skeptical at first prior to purchase. However, this germguardian did the trick. I can clearly notice a difference now after leaving it run overnight. I have placed this in a musty office room that is 170sq ft and only wish this had some sort of timer. I did purchase a outlet timer for around $17 and use it together with this unit as I leave it running overnight and the office smells great the next morning. I recommend this but if you have a dust or mold issue, then I would run this alongside a unit that has a hepa/carbon filter alongside.

Anybody figure out how to just use Xfinity remote to watch tv? This tv defaults to a menu where you have to pick TV or Roku or other input everytime. This forces you to use 2 remotes to just get the tv on and showing the input from cable.
You can simply go into the TV settings and select the input "cable box" as default power up. Make sure you programmed your cable remote to control the TV and you should be fine after that.

Can you mount this tv on the wall
Yes, I mounted this to a wall mount arm. The TV is about 22lbs and has a 400x200 Vesa mount pattern. It did come with 4 Vesa screws and I used those instead of the ones from my Vesa mount arm since I wanted to ensure bolt depth.

Does this TV play video files from a USB input source, for example .mkv files from an external hard drive?
Yes it does, but you must do the following: make sure that the files you want to play are not in a sub folder and are placed in the root of the drive. This seemed to work for me
