Essential to getting the best quality sound

These stands are made of steel/aluminum. They also need to be filled with about 15lbs. Of sand. The speakers sit on metal plates. The combination of materials and assembly make them quite durable as well as essential to getting a fantastic sound! I use these with a Marantz 1650 receiver. Just a marvelous set up.
