Decent Value for a mid range walk around combo

Overall fairly pleased with the 80D. Only thing is I should have paired it with a faster walk around lens. The 18-135 that comes as the standard kit lens is fine but maybe I should have sprung the big bucks for the CANON 17-55mm f/2.8 EF-S IS USM as a faster prime zoom. I will wind up buying a faster lens in the future for lower light situations.

After reading several reviews and comparisons to the rather pricey Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM it became apparent this lens offers decent value. It's also nice to have filter size compatibility with the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM that came on my EOS 80D.
In practical application this lens performs satisfactorily. I've used this for a variety of situations and only occasionally wish I had the extra stop of max aperture. Only 4 stars due to max aperture and lightweight build materials but that is what I paid for.
