The Trackpad 2 is way too expensive (bought mine with gift cards). Compared to the Apple mouse, there isn't that much difference in what you can do except expand and contract the screen, swipe left, right or up, & click on words for their definition. Functions that only a computer junkie would need. And all require different finger (s) movements. This takes a little getting used to, and throws you off when you go back to a mouse. Spend your money somewhere else. This is only for the tech junkies or someone who had a lot of gift cards and nothing else to buy.

The Arlo Pro is probably the best buy of all the completely wireless cameras. It has a good battery life with fairly cheap extra batteries & rechargeable, 2 way communication, good HD quality, 7 days free cloud storage with option of usb hard drive storage attached to base station, indoor/outdoor, good start time up for live viewing, lots of camera adjustments to suit your situation such as scheduling and length of recording, 100 db siren that can be activated by phone, GEO fencing, good nite vision, plus all the standards of security cameras, and it is made by Netgear. It is not cheap, but when you consider how much you want to spend for convenience, quality, security, reliability, safety and everything else, this is probably the best buy. Get it on sale if you can-which means buy it at the end of the year. The main thing I don't like about it is that the camera can be stolen or damaged, but that goes for all of them-mount it high up. Ring cameras offer a free replacement if stolen, but there is a cost for cloud storage per camera and they are more expensive. Get it at Best Buy if you can - they match on line and store prices and you can see and touch it and you have much easier return ability.

Bought this to keep drinks cold in my garage. Specs say it goes to 32 degrees, but that turns out to be the freezer. However, the fridge does go to 38 which is good enough to keep drinks cold. Had 2 Magic Chef's that didn't do the job. Returned them to get this one and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I've had this cover for several weeks and I like it very much so far. It is the Ottor Box Symmetry Folio case. I chose black over brown-personal choice. I like the tough rubber bumper that the phone snaps into. I don't like hard plastic bumpers that break when dropped. I like the flap that easily flips open and closed and stays closed magnetically. One draw back is the flap when taking pictures. You have to leave it open half way in order to take pictures-which is not that much of an inconvenience. It slips in and out of my pocket easily and offers a nice look to the phone. You cannot bend the flap, tent like, to prop up the phone on a table for viewing. The flap material always wants to return to the flat position. It does have a nice slot for a CC, but it is hard to put in and take out. All in all, there is always something good and bad about every cover. Me, I like this one very much. But, buy it on sale, never buy anything that is not on sale if you can.

Good iPhone protective case

My wife had this case on her iPhone6 when it fell, twice, and cracked the outer shell, but did protect the phone. These are very good cases that do their job, but are a little expensive, get them on sale. I wish I could find a case that could take a drop or two and still remain in good shape. Between us, we have had over a dozen cases, and they all were 'a one time drop' case. I wish I could find one that could withstand a drop and remain in good shape. OtterBox has made up most of the dozen or so cases that we have bought because they do protect the phone. But, get them on sale, and be more careful with the phone.

I bought replacement heads from an Ebay vender because they were cheap. And cheap they were. They pinched and did not shave as closel as the old worn ones. So, I bought these, not much more $ than the cheap ones, and the brand name heads have worked just fine. Get the brand name for the little extra cost. It is well worth it.

This is actually the my 2nd Wemo switch. I got the first one for Christmas, and the 2nd with rewards. With both switches, the Wemo wifi was slow to turn on after plugging them in, but was fairly easy to set up. I can't image using them without our Echo. You can physically turn lights on & off faster than using the smart phone. They offer a timer, but you can buy a timer for less then 1/3 their cost. They do offer remote on/off, but how often would you ever use it?? But with the Echo. you can activate them when entering/leaving the room. I'm old school, and not that lazy. I would not have bought them had they not cost me much $. But, they are fun, with the Echo,

We bought this Sony 65" TV on sale at Best Buy, always buy at year's end and on sale. It was a very good price for a Sony and @ Best Buy you can and touch it in person, not just look at a web sight, and actually talk to someone live, not just chat with someone who probably is not even in the US. For high price items, I like to go to a store to actually see the item. Best Buy has a price match guarantee also.
The Sony TV was easy to set up and has worked great since installation. It was actually lighter than the 52" we replaced. The 4K screen is much clearer than the 1080 screen as it should be. And the 64" screen is great for movies and sports events, and really, anything else. There are plenty of inputs, 4 HDMI's, component and composite, etc. There are cheaper 65" TV's, But Sony is still a great company that makes great TV's. I have always found that in most cases, cheaper is not better, and highest priced items are not worth the cost. I like to stay in the middle or upper middle, but I also like to get a sale. This TV fit the bill.

I tried several 3rd party inks. Some do not last long when stored as back ups. And the HP printer will not recognize some of them. You have to buy them on line & get them 2-5 business days later. Even though the cost is about half the HP cost, I bite the bullet & buy HP ink. Watch for a sale or use a rewards program. It stinks when a cartridge is empty & the 3rd party ink doesn't work. And a lot of printers won't work with 1 cartridge down. I use HP ink, on sale, because they work.

I know you said filter is not good for viewing eclipse, but can you use it for photographing it using the LCD screen?
The camera's light sensor, which ever one you have, is light sensitive just like your eyes. If you expose this camera to straight sun light, you will probably totally or partially ruin this sensor. Your eyes will be fine using the LCD, but the sensor is looking right at the sun. Don't do it.
