Worked for hours attempting to connect the scale to the home WiFi network and internet including reading numerous web complaints and attempts to connect by other users. Eventually learned from a FitBit support email message that the scale cannot connect to the home network AND internet if a WiFi extender or secondary access point is used to broaden the home connection and the scale is attempting to connect using the extended network. I exchanged this scale for the less expensive Withings network scale at Best Buy which worked the first time on my extended WiFi network right out of the box and has continued to work flawlessly since then. The withings scale will also pass its weight readings to numerous websites including the FitBit website.

What's great about it: Works well as a standalone scale without connecting to the home WiFi network.
What's not so great: Will not connect to home WiFi network and internet unless it is within range of the originating WiFi router
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best TV picture I have ever seen with easy to use and outstanding features. New smart TV features with each update and five updates since my purchase. TV was a great value for the money with a huge 60 inch screen. Works very well with both my Yamaha home theater and DirectTV systems. I can control all common aspects of the TV and home theater system from my RF DirectTV remote control.

Battery life is adversely affected by syncing to a smart phone automatically. Need to change to manual syncing to prevent quick discharge. Also, only way to determine remaining battery life is to first plug the device into the charger, which is nutty. The device should display remaining battery life by pressing the button. Other than this, the device is good.
