Affordable batteries

These are used in a lot of things (for me, primarily headstock guitar tuners). The first batteries I bought as replacement cost nearly as much as the tuners. These are def more affordable; it remains to be seen how long they'll last.

Ink for your Printer

I was told that the Epson printers were easy on ink, and I was getting burned out on HP printers. Well, these Epson carts do not work any better, possibly worse. I don't know whether to blame the printer or the ink technology. Printer says I have plenty of ink, but won't print. Clean the heads, nothing. New cartridges work for a while, and again fail before the printer acknowledges they're out of ink. Buy 2-3 cycles of replacement, and you've outspent what you paid for your printer. Maybe it's time for a laserjet.

With the purchase of a new iPad comes the necessity for another keyboard case. It works well thus far, and seems to be more sturdy than previous models. I may be premature in my assessment. Before this purchase, we had purchased at least 5 Logitech keyboards for a two iPad home. They have each worked well until the plastic frame that holds the iPad breaks. These have historically been VERY poorly designed, but I hope this one lasts longer. Always get the extended protection on these because you more rent them than buy them. My recommendation is guarded as a consequence.

All right. I think this is my 3rd review of a Logitech keyboard for my iPad Air. The first one lasted me a couple of years, but finally the plastic frame that holds the iPad in place broke. It worked well while it lasted. Bought a new one just last summer. The frame started cracking in exactly the same place, and eventually gave way. Lucky for me, I had the product replacement plan.
This last one *seems* sturdier than previous models, but I can't really tell. The general design is the same, and I expect product failure again well before the iPad itself dies. These are not well-designed. You more rent them than own them. I'd buy another brand, but I don't like their configuration. Also - wife has iPad Mini, and we've gone through the same thing with it and Logitech keyboards. Her 2nd one is giving out as we speak. They are both used regularly but gently, and there is no reason they should break so easily.

That about sums it up. Big sound from a small box. Got it for wife for Christmas as an upgrade for what she had. She really likes it. Some people have complained about the "loud" voice. It's not that bad. The one I use for myself is much worse, and it talks for *everything*.

I didn't even know I needed a new Blu-Ray player until I popped my new "Captain America: Civil War" disc into it. "Disc not compatible" it repeatedly said. There has been that much upgrade to the format to make this necessary already? Bought this one after reading a few reviews. It is faster to load than my old one, and has wireless capacity, which was also an upgrade. Smart features make it much more versatile as well.
I hope I don't have to replace this one soon due to "disc not compatible" issues.

I've seen this online at various sites for a while now, but I've deferred purchase. When I saw one in person, I couldn't resist. As a phaser prop replica, it's the best I have, but not really enough to rationalize the expense. As a remote, it's awkward, and I doubt if anyone actually uses it that way. I think I'm going to keep it, primarily to complete my collection. It is nice that you don't have to buy batteries since it has a USB charger. My recommendation is qualified, based on the fact that most hardcore ST fans who can afford this will like it.

Does the case have a magnetic strip to hold the mini in place while you type? I got a case for my iPad Air and the strip works great. I've had other cases without the strip and the iPads slip. I hate that.
Yes, and it is a fairly strong magnet. I've had no slippage issues.
