I needed a keyboard that I could share between a Mac Mini and a Macbook Air. I was already sharing a display. This keyboard has the ability to pair with up to 3 computers, and that feature works like a charm. Key travel is fine. And the batteries seem to be lasting a long time.
Only issues are:
1. the keyboard is a little small and feels just slightly cramped.
2. The repeat speed when holding down a ket (like an arrow key for example) is rather slow.

I researched this device prior to buying, and even called support to ask questions. One question I asked was whether or not you could limit the amount of space used by Time Machine, or even partition the drive. They said no. I bought it anyway, and it turned out that the answer should have been yes. I might have bought a larger one had I known.
But all that aside, setup was very easy, and it works flawlessly. Its fast, and quiet, and I am very satisfied with the purchase.

It should work. I am using it on a Mac Mini running El Capitan without issues.
