Very sturdy optical audio cord

I had tried using a smaller cable which connected my TV and stereo using the using the digital audio converter box but, the sound just was not what I was looking for. I switched to this cable since it was a larger cable and the difference is sound was fantastic. Now I have my true 5.1 surround sound keeping my analog equipment. This cable makes a difference. Don't use the smaller cables you won't be happy.

We love British TV. You can get most of British TV with the Acorn app. Unfortunately this app isn't listed on the apps selection of this TV. How can I get Acorn? This should not be confused with the Acorn Investment app.
Have you checked the websites of streaming apps not included on your TV? Roku, amazon fire stick, playstation vu? Each website has a support area that you can ask questions if your particular situation is not listed. I googled if Roku has acorn and the response was yes. Research Roku it is a very reliable product and it supports acorn.

I have neither cable nor an antenna and wish to use the TV for streaming only. I see no option for no antenna and no cable and I keep getting a message saying that the signal is weak, with a lot of snow. Any way around this? Smart Hub APPS are OK.
Do you have a strong internet signal? That seems to be a FAQ on the streaming sites. If your internet signal is not strong and stable you will have trouble streaming. An indoor antenna is an inexpensive option for the basic network channels and the picture is perfect coming in at 1080 which this TV is. Just a thought. Indoor antennas are reliable today.
