We had a modem/router in one, which worked fine, but we had exceeded its capacity. Our internet speed is now as fast as Comcast says we should have. We also purchased the modem too. And both have made a huge difference. No more dead spots. Our home is two story and over 2000sq ft. We don't game, so it is plenty for us.

I bought this to improve the sound from our Visio TV. That it does very well. The volume control has a draw back, it is either low or jumps up with one click to almost too loud. Different devices are not recognized automaticity and it can be a challenge to switch from one to another. Once on, all is ok. Well worth the money, but maybe I should have researched more before buying. Not sure if another brand would have been better for the price.

I've had this TV stand for a week and it still smells like chemicals. When does the smell go away?
Ours had an odor also, it was the finish and the tight packaging that retained the smell. Took maybe a week and the odor went away.
