Great add-on memory for xbox one

Great for extending your network

My son's room has a good signal at his desk, but nothing on the far side of the room (where his gaming stuff is). We put this on his desk, and now the whole room is online. Computer is connected with Ethernet and all else is wifi, and no lag anywhere. The only drawback is that, occasionally (and for no reason we can find), the unit will lose connection from the main router. Restart it and it goes like a champ again. Seems a small thing every couple of weeks, but that is the only reason for less than 5 stars.

Great update for older machines

I needed to replace an old Radeon card in a Windows 7 machine. This did the trick. It is PCIe 3.0 but it is backward compatible with the PCIe 2.1 slot I had. It did not even require a separate power connector, yet improved performance incredibly. Not the fastest card on the market, but about the best you can do in an older computer.

How can I use it with my hotspot? I do have unlimited hot spot.
This creates a new network from the outer regions of your old network to extend the range. If you have to be very close to your hotspot to connect to it, this will allow you a lot more distance. If you already have a good range on your hotspot, then this would allow that range to be almost doubled.

Does this require connection to the power supply or will it run without ?
It has no place for a power supply connection, and it runs great without one.
