Our home security is based on the Zigbee protocol and our entire home is Kwikset locks, so it was a natural choice to integrate this. It was easy to install and program. Works great with our security system and was easy to add there too.
We are able to program 6-digit codes for guests or house cleaners that we can manage separately from our master code. Much more convenient and secure than giving out physical keys.
The SmartKey feature allowed us to key it to our existing keys...another strong selling point. So far very pleased with this product and features.

Best Buy says "coming soon" for this using ZigBee.
1) When will it be available?
2) Will it definitely be ZigBee or ZWave?
Our system is Zigbee and we have 2 units. Be sure to search specially for the Zigbee model. The units we have actually work with both Zigbee and Z-Wave. It's a simple switch on the unit to change.
