This range cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing range.

Needed, but...

This is pretty much a requirement for new ranges.
But, with most ranges not really needing that much distance to from outlet, the extra length is frequently unnecessary.

Bring style and innovation to your kitchen. This Samsung electric range lets you cook two dishes at different temperatures simultaneously to speed up the cooking process. Plus, the steam clean system takes care of grease, oil, and stuck-on food.

Hands down the best range/oven I've ever owned.
It took a bit to get used to how the range heats things (it does an incremental step-up to reach the desired temperature on the range), but once I figured out that's what it was doing (to ensure an even heating of the pan and to decrease amount of energy used), I've had zero complaints.
One thing of note if you're considering the purchase - make sure your pots/pans have flat bottoms. Glass/Ceramic tops are completely unforgiving in that respect. If your pan is even slightly curved or misshapen, it will not really work on this.

Samsung 4-Door French door refrigerator: Keep food fresh and organized in this refrigerator, which offers generous storage options, including a FlexZone drawer with 4 versatile temperature settings, and an exterior digital control panel. The Food ShowCase door allows you to view the contents of the refrigerator without letting cool air escape.

Once working, fantastic fridge

I've read the reviews about the one problem this model had (faulty internal fan), but there weren't many of them so I decided to go ahead with the purchase (there was an AMAZING deal on black Friday).
Well, with my luck being what it is, I got one with this defect.
Fortunately, I purchased GeekSquad protection, and was able to get it fixed relatively quickly (if you're unsure, get the protection. My repair bill would've been 350 bucks).
Now, the fridge is amazing. Super quiet, very efficient, lots of room and organization options. Would definitely recommend.

Is the back panel recessed at the bottom to accommodate a floor outlet?

We have a floor mounted power outlet for our current range, which measures 4.5" L X 3" D X 2.5" H (3.5" high when including the range power cord).

Our existing range is recessed at the bottom of the back panel, so the range slides right over the outlet.

Some ranges have back panels which run straight from top to bottom, so will not accommodate a floor outlet. I can find no diagrams or photos online of the range back.

Can anyone help out here?

Here's a picture of our floor outlet which is attached to our tile floor.

Thank you!
