After years of continuous service my old Onkyo 7.1 decided not to wake up one day. :( I settled on the 5.1 due to price difference between it and the new 7.1 and sadly disappointed as it just doesn't perform as well as my old one. Lacks the "umph" my old one produced while watching high action movies. Probably just fine for someone going from 5.1 to another 5.1. Dropping from 7 to 5 will take some time to adjust to the lower wattage output.

This helped alleviate some clutter on the breakfast bar where we all plug in our electronics to charge. Nice not having to use the bulky 110V power converters plus USB cords. We have 3 short USB cords which work great and it leaves the outlets open so we don't have to unplug a phone to use the toaster! A bit pricey even on sale but worth it to get rid of the tangle of cords.

Will it work with mobile data instead of internet?
I do not have access to internet where I live, but I have an unlimited data plan on my phone (android). I also do not have mobile hotspot. However, I have a modem and a wifi router (again no internet). Will chromcast work for me? I will I be able to watch netflix or youtube on my phone, and mirror it to my TV?
4G seems to work whereas 3G not so much keeps buffering

yes if using my laptop I can access both Netflix and Amazon Prime, my phone has issues related to data transfer and keeps buffering so I don't use it with a phone. My son however has Verizon 4G and it works fine with his phone.

The chromecast USB comes in a box with cable and adapter, the only difference between it and new is the "refurbished" stickers on it.

I would like to purchase the Kenwood Kmix but it appears to have a weak motor 500w. Should I consider buying a different, stronger model?
500 watts should be plenty of power for general mixing as long as the motor has overload protection to prevent overheating during heavy mixing. If you intend to be using it for heavy cookie doughs or breadmaking I would go with no less than 550 and preferably 575. You do want to make sure it has overload protection in any case especially since it is an expensive mixer. I am not familiar with the Kmix but for the serious baker I would recommend you research Kitchenaid brand mixers in the US. I would buy a Kenwood sound system based on reputation over the years but kitchen appliances???? Not so much! If you are in the UK however you likely don't have that option. They seem comparably priced so one would likely conclude they are of similar quality construction. Hope this helps
