Unable to secure antenna in place

I was hoping that this would work as we live out in a rural area. I couldn't even attach the external antenna to a pole because one of the screw holes were off center.
We tried it temporarily with one person holding the antenna on the roof while another checks the modem. We tried multiples spots on the roof and we could only get one bar on our cell phones.
I'm driving 60 miles to the nearest Bestbuy just to return it.

Third attempt at this review. Poor Micro USB plug

This is my third attempt at trying to add a picture to this review. When I do, my review is erased and I'm send back to the main website page.
I bought this speaker on Oct 12, 2016. I've used it about ten time while out kayak fishing. I liked it because it resists water splashes.
Now, Dec, 9, 2016 the top of the Micro USB port is keeps pushing down in the way of me being able to charge it. I have to use a knife to push it back up and out of the way so I can charge it. It's bending right at the manufacturer crease. Sooner or later the entire plug will fail and push in. I'm glad I bought the extra 2 yr warranty. Now I have to drive 120 roundtrip and spend fuel and 4 hours of my time just to get this replaced. Buy the extra warranty!.
