Awesome security camera kit

This is the third camera kit that i have installed. It was the easiest of all.
I allreary had my old cameras where i wanted them so i just used them.
I downloaded Swannview plus on my iphone amd used it to scan the code on the DVR. The entire setup process took just a few minutes. In the past i would call an expert, then he would show up eventually, then he would work on it for about an hour. I didn't pay anyone to get it done, and the software automatically chooses between wifi and cell towers.

connect to cable digital channels without cable box
My cable company has digital tv; however, I don't use a cable box and connect directly with my larger Insignias to the cable connection. I just returned another smaller (different brand) tv which had only the ATSC tuner and which wouldn't pick up the cable channels. Will this set pick up cable channels without the box?
I think so. I am useing an antenna to pickup 41 HDTV channels. My neighbor is useing one on cable vision and he picks up approx 200 channels. He never even knew he had so many channels before he got this TV from me.
