Good product, not the same as MacBook Pro

I like the idea of the trackpad, but going from using the trackpad on my macbook Pro to using this in conjunction with my new mac mini, which is the only reason I bought the trackpad, it's just not the same. It slides around a little too much for me and the bluetooth connection is shaky at times. I had to use an ethernet chord to my computer and turn the WiFi off in order to get any WiFi signal. The bluetooth signal was interfering with the WiFi very very badly.

Will this work with a laptop
More specifically can I hook it up to my Macbook Pro, close the lid, and have it display on this screen?
Yes. You would just have to change your display preferences on your Mac. You would also need to get a wireless or USB keyboard, obviously.
