My current modem was out modernized (hard-wire to fiber optics) and I had to upgrade! This was The Best Buy recommendation and it was a good one. Net Gear offered great support over the phone and it really gets the job done FAST! Very nice looking piece of equipment as well!

I had my computer hard drive replaced/upgraded at Best Buy and the technician told me my Trend Micro Anti-Virus license was due to expire. I asked him if there was anything better because in my opinion Trend Micro has a lot of "leaks" as was evidenced by the number of hacks having their way in my system. He recommended Web Root as the best system he knew of for the money. New/upgraded hard drive is working just great and the I feel like I have a REAL anti-virus system protecting this one! Not one leak in over a month! John K. Hartsworm

I had a remote computer service handling my isolated issues with my PC but eventually isolated got to be regular! They kept wanting to sell me something and I finally cut them off after they accidentally erased one of my WINDOWS operating files. Of course at that point "remote" has REAL issues like how do we get to the internet to secure remote access when the computer will not even open to a log-in screen? I went to Best Buy and they made recommendations to upgrade and update my PC after doing analysis on my machine. I agreed and for what I paid my "remote" access provider I now have a local source who is trustworthy and not trying to sell me the world. By the way - the machine is operating like new and the updates/upgrades were really excellent recommendations. Geek Squad wins Remote Access Provider goes bye bye forever (I was shocked they gave me no refund!) John K. Hartsworm
