Can this unit be wirelessly connected to my 4K television
It can be but according to Bose spokesperson it isn't recommended. Best for music as it was created for music. However I have watched iTunes movies and Netflix online and through my computer and the sound was superb. But I wouldn't buy it for that purpose until you somehow checked it out first for quality __maybe in a Best Buy store or the like.

Yes and with richer and deeper sound __of course you can turn it up and down with few limits

optical cable from tv turn it on?
Is there away for the optical cable from tv to turn it on and off when the tv remote is used to power on and off TV.
Not included but you can buy the optic cord for about 8.00 on up.
