Much better than gen 1

The stability and responsiveness is much better than the first gen. I still don't like this because it's impossible to pair in a hotel or anything with an interstitial page, like its brother the Google home. Other than that it works quite nice in a controlled wifi situation. I have this on my projector so I can cast my laptop screen wirelessly when doing work.

The hub approach works so much better than the old designs - the smarts are there and not in the remote. This enables control via home automation, xbox, playstation, etc that took expensive remotes before. The ability to use your phone to control things when you can't find the remote is excellent. Also has alexa integration, and though it's still a bit buggy if you have more than one hub in your home. Overall for the money I've retired all of my old logitech remotes with this one.

The 1tb ssd in this isn't even available on the del website, and it's a samsung p951 with insane speeds. This puppy is loaded and runs great. You may need to upgrade the bios though, it seems like it was shipped too early and that has some issues. Screen, keyboard, video card are all fantastic! This is definitely head and shoulders above the previous gen XPS15/M3800. When 16 GB SODIMMs are released this year, this beast is ready to support them for a whopping 32gb of ram. If you use linux, the support is a big shakey at the moment as it's so new. I am running Ubuntu 15.10 with 4.3 nightly kernel and it works good, except for dual displays are not reliable yet (not a fault of the machine though).

If the watch is paired to my phone via Bluetooth and then I step into my car (which also has BT), will the car's system automatically take over for receiving/answering calls & texts? I would prefer that instead of using the watch while driving.
