Excellent Screen, superior product

I read the reviews on this and was still reluctant to purchase it. Screens are high-priced items and I don't casually gamble nearly $400 with tax. I had been using a budget motorized screen and the edges had curled until it was it impossible not to notice. It being my first screen I had nothing to compare it to and thought the image quality was very good if you could overlook the curling and ripples. This Elite screen surpasses the old one in every way in terms of picture quality: cleaner, better contrast, perfectly flat and an overscan border of black velvet that really works. It is not particularly difficult to assemble but it does take time and nice clear area to work in. I have the 120" screen, it requires some real estate to build it in. You will need to lay down something to protect the screen during assembly. Don't lay it on a dirty rug or one with animal hair. It does come wrapped with protective paper and foam but I recommend large lint-free sheets to lay under it. I put it together myself but a few extras hands never hurts. Pay special attention to the corners in order to get them square, there is a tendency for them to mate up out of alignment. They provide a small hammer and screwdriver so use the hammer to keep the corners square. Stretching the screen is scary but follow the directions and keep the ribbed edge of the screen in the grove on the inside of the frame. Use all the provided retaining clips, it needs them to stay in place. Mine does not have a hint of wrinkling so it is possible to a good job even by yourself. The cross brace in the back is important and the instructions aren't completely clear so take your time and keep the ribbed portion facing up or away from the screen backing. Also be careful not to lean the completed screen against anything that might damage it. Make sure the frame is the only thing that touches when leaning it against the wall while you do other things. When hanging it, the bottom retaining clip can be a bit of guessing game to get in the right place. Hang the screen on the upper clips then find the right place for the bottom clip. It would be good to have two people hold the screen while you install the lower clip. Leave room between the upper clips and the edges of the frame, at least a foot in on either side, so you can slide the screen horizontally for perfect positioning. If you can live with a permanent screen on the wall this one is nice. From the reviews I've read and the evidence of my own eyes this is one of the best available at a reasonable price. Highly recommended, just take your time.

This is an affordable and handy flash drive. I bought several to keep in my desk at home, at work and in my car. This way I always have a flash drive on hand. I am often asked to help out with computer chores at the small business where I work and having a flash drive is essential for this kind of work. Very convenient especially at this low price. USB 2.0 is fast enough for these small capacity drives. If you need a larger capacity drive opt for a USB 3.0 model.

This drive cropped up on sale a number of places recently. Best Buy had the lowest price and free shipping. The read and write speeds are quite good when using USB 3.0. I did not try it over USB 2.0 but suspect it would be better than many purely 2.0 drives. One caveat that I've seen a number of people mention is the stiff operation of the slide cover. I find it comfortably tight and feel that it will not pop open while in my pocket or a laptop bag. I have two of these, a 64GB and the 128GB and neither is so hard to open that it is any kind of problem. Maybe if you have arthritis or some other problem with your hands this might be an issue. Overall this is an excellent drive and well worth the price.
What's great about it: USB 3.0 I/O speed is very good.
What's not so great: None
