The Anova app allows you to select a recipe and it'll set the temp and timer for you.

Works great. Have used it several times and produces some excellent videos. Had to buy the JVC AC adapter to speed up the charging, also bought a suction cup mount to make it more usable. The WIFI connection works well, very convenient when used as a remote control. One negative is the mic picks up a lot of wind noise.
