Two stars just because my 7 yr old likes it

I wish I would've read the reviews more closely before buying this game. My two older children (16 & 11) were as excited as my 7 yr old when I told them about this game. We were expecting something similar to Mario Party but obviously more Animal Crossing-ish. We were not expecting to be bored out of minds and hoping it would end asap. Alas, nothing we could do to speed it up.
On the plus side, my 7 yr old said she liked it. Although, she hasn't asked to play it since we got it.
The figures are great though and my kids definitely like having them on the shelf in front of the Wii U. They just wish they loved this game as much as the other games in the franchise.

Works really well despite Microsoft's shortcomings

I wish Microsoft would've gone the same route as Sony with their controllers. I hate having to get a device like this and have to use their battery pack and battery cover. If Microsoft would have just made the battery built in, it would be less of a pain of recharging controllers, but despite that this rechargeable solution is definitely worth the money.

I wish they would release the original theatrical versions on Blu-ray, not the Lucas revamped versions. This could've easily been a 5 star review if not for that.
I guess I should've never got rid of my VHS player. Need to find one so I can show my kids the untainted versions that I have on VHS.

So far the system is working as advertised. I bought it because I wanted to play the new Tomb Raider game. I own all the current gaming systems on the market. This one gave me a little bit of trouble during the set up process, but Microsoft was aware of this issue and it was easy to find the proper resources to get the system set up and running. I wish it could've been fixed through the Xbox One's own OS. Even though I'm pretty tech savvy, it still took about 20-30 mins to get everything done on my desktop so I could update the XBox One with a thumb drive.

I used to be a big supporter of Otterbox cases and had them on all of my electronic devices.
Now that phones are getting bigger, I just don't like how much more girth and weight that Otterbox cases add to the device if you want the most protection.
I think for a bit more money, Lifeproof cases are the way to go because you get the same if not more protection and it doesn't add as much to the weight.

If you like Skylanders & Infinity, this is a MUST!

This is so much more fun than Skylanders and Disney's Infinity.
Sure, it's pretty much the same model of getting users to buy multiple figures/sets, but it's just so much more fun because it's LEGO and you build stuff too.
The story is creative. The gameplay is just like all the other LEGO games out there. It's hard enough to keep adults engaged into playing, but still simple for the elementary aged kids to still play and not get frustrated. I can't stand playing Skylanders and Infinity with my kids because it's TOO easy.
Plus, if the game ever dies, LEGO figures are so much more fun to still play with or display than Infinity or Skylander figures.

Yes, it comes with the required hardware to mount via VESA 100 x 100. It's just over 26 pounds though, so make sure you get a mount to support that.
